Different sized compartments
This was a blast to open!! I let my 14 year old do the actual unboxing & she was highly impressed, which is hard for me to do at this age lol she did not like that on the flap there were different stones shown that she didn’t receive. But it didn’t take away from the overall experience just something to be aware of. There was an actual gemstone mushroom included which we were absolutely thrilled by. I like to open most advent calendars all at once but this one was so spectacular I really would’ve liked to spread it out more. I highly recommend for all ages!

Beautiful rocks and crystals
I loved this. It was so fun to open and see what was inside. I believe this is more of a packaging error but when I tried to open it, it was placed in upside down so I had to take it out instead of opening it like I normally would. Also, as I looked at the rock and the information, I realized that the rock that was inside the different country didn’t mean that’s where it came from. One rock could’ve said to been from New Zealand but really was found somewhere in South America. Just because it was in the spot of one country didn’t mean it really was from there. But the rocks were beautiful and looks amazing with my collection. I’m really happy with this purchase and plan on getting more in the future.

Several errors
To start off the entire tray was inserted backwards with no access to the gems. I had to completely open it and flip it around, but doing this caused the cardboard to rip in several places and it was quite difficult to get back in. The necklace was also missing the gem holder, it is just a necklace with no way to insert a gem. We have only opened one day so far but that gem was plastic. Overall, my daughter seems to enjoy it but it would be nice to be able to enjoy it fully.

Nice little advent calendar
I got this for my daughter who absolutely loves polished rocks. We havenât started opening it yet, but I opened the top and took a look at everything. It all looks nice and she will definitely love all the pieces. Itâs not top quality but itâs good enough for a young kid. Definitely would make a fun gift!

Luck of the draw and I got lucky! Great set at less than $1 a day
I’m quite happy with this 25 day Advent Calendar. We have gotten a few of these and I feel this is one of the better ones. There are some small stones, but also some larges one as well. See picture of some of the large ones in my hand.If you look at my picture, you will see I made my best attempt to match the stones to the description on the left. I was unable to match the last one, the chrysoberyl & also had some extras.Also, as gem stones have increased in price over the years, not all of these are real rocks. The “moonstone” is definately not real moonstone and actually glass moonstone. The rose quartz is actually red smelt quartz which is man made and often made from glass. There was also an extra heart “stone” that is dyed quartz. (see pic.) However, 3 out of 22 rocks being fake is OK with me.Also, as you can imagine, some of these more pricey/harder to find rocks are smaller OR the component in the rock is very small. For example, the fluorite I got was a reasonable size, but you can’t tell it has any flourite until you turn it slowly in the light and see a tiny fleck reflect.Should also note that while the Advent has a bunch of different county names on the “days” there are no numbers, you just open one after another. And the countries does not have anything to do with the country of origin of the rocks. I think it would be kinda cool if there was an Advent Calendar like that, but I’m sure it would be out of this price range.As mentioned, the slots don’t have dates and the rocks inside are not in any type of order. So after I inspected this set, I re-ordered it so that it goes from top to bottow, left to right.This kit comes with some extras like a bag to hold some of your rocks, a bracelet made of mostly rocks (the yellow and clear ones I believe are acrylic or glass) 4 gold colored spiral balls for you to put a rock inside of. (Just stretch the ball open and slip a rock in.) Keychain attachment and necklace string with clasp. However, I was disappointed to find that one of the gold ball has already turned color and is rusting. (See pic of the different color.)If you have a kid like me that likes pretty rocks, I think they will really like this kit. The box is gifting quality, stiff cardboard. and the inside has the foam inserts.

2024 Gemstone Advent Calendar for Kids
I appreciate that this little advent calendar doesn’t just fall apart as soon as you start using it. I’ve had some in the past that didn’t really function as actual advent calendars. This has nice little foam encasing that holds the stones in place. I peeked at what he’s going to get and there are some pretty ones! I’d get this again.

Nice set. Generally as described and advertised, but…
I think a lot of the stones provided in this set are very ordinary and not particularly attractive. Overall they are not as nice as those pictured in the advertising. However, there are a few of them that are absolutely beautiful and make the whole set worth the price, and a fun way kids to learn the different kinds of rocks in the form of an advent calendar.
