A beautiful holder for my palo santo wood!
This palo santo incense holder really is beautiful! It is just as pictured. I love the iridescent raku finish and the lotus pattern of the ceramic bowl. The center holder is large enough to accommodate different widths of palo santo wood and tall enough that smaller diameter wood still sits mostly upright. The bowl around the holder is large enough to catch any ash. This holder also comes with a small brass colored metal insert for incense sticks. (I donât think itâs heavy enough to be brass. Itâs likely some other metal alloy, but this doesnât change the functionality.) Simply put the insert in the center holder and put an incense stick in the brass insertâs center opening. For easy clean-up of any ash, a brush is included, and any ash is also easily rinsed away with water because of the glossy finish. Also included is a pair of tweezers which you can use to put the incense stick in the holder, if you like, since you wonât be able to hold on to the stick end of the incense when putting it in the brass insert (because thatâs where the stick end goes). As this is all ceramic, I will likely move my palo santo wood to a metal dish when it burns down low. I wouldnât want to take a chance on the ceramic getting too hot and cracking once the wood is burned down to within the height of the holder â itâs just too pretty! This really is a beautiful item, and the extras (tweezers, incense stick metal insert, clean-up brush and felt âcoasterâ) were thoughtful additions. My photos show an incense stick and a piece of palo santo wood. These are not included – I put my own in the holder to show how they fit.

The color effect on this piece is beautiful, I love having it on my desk. It also holds small taper or chime candles, and if you use a small holder you can also use it for stick incense. Overall if it’s something you’re looking at, you probably need one.

This is flawless. The dish is absolutely beautiful and the brush that comes with is super helpful. I get lots of compliments on it even when visitors donât realize itâs an incense burner.

Beautiful ceramic set with tools
This nice quality ceramic incense holder is a beautiful rainbow metallic glazed ceramic with a decent weight, thick material. It comes with a lovely brown leather-type round mat with a cute cutout pattern, which is a thoughtful addition to place underneath so the ceramic wonât scratch any furniture! The tools included are also very practical and functional for incense burning, like sage, palo santo, or any others. The ceramic is large enough to prevent messes escaping the area, and it seems durable so it should last a long time. I also like it for aesthetics with the many colors and shiny finish. I realized itâs also the perfect size to be used as a candlestick holder for tapered candles, which is another use for this versatile piece.

Not As Colorful, But Still Pretty. Nice Weight. Okay Extras.
This is a reasonably pretty holder for burning Palo Santo sticks (or standard incense sticks). The iridescent colors look really nice, but I do wish the top face of mine had more prominent blues, purples, and greens like the holders in the product images have. While those colors can be found in more abundance on the bottom of this piece, the top is mostly yellow with a pink rim (see my photo). Being ceramic, it does have an appropriate weight to it, and so I would not want to drop it.This order comes with several extras, though I donât know where Iâm supposed to neatly keep most of them. A brown, felt pad is included to set the holder upon. In its center is a punch-out in the shape of bamboo. Unfortunately, it does not yet sit flat, with all of the edges lifting upward (see my other photos). Also included is a relatively heavy, gold-colored piece to set inside the center of this holder, where it will securely hold a standard incense stick upright. A small fan brush is included for dusting this holder free of ash. And a helpful pair of long but rather thin tweezers is included for picking out any chunks of debris from the center.Overall, while this is still a pretty Palo Santo holder, I do wish its coloring had been more whimsical, like that of the product images.
