Way better than dragging out a step ladder
There are plenty of spiders where I live, and they build webs in every corner and crevice of the exterior of the house. This tool has a cleaning head that is small enough to get into corners where it grabs the webs and easily brings them down. Unlike soft dusters, this one has a plastic head. It can be cleaned with a garden hose and dries quickly because it does not absorb water. The extension pole is long enough to reach my second story windows without dragging out the step ladder, which I really appreciate. Although it has worked well to date, the pole itself feels a bit flimsy so I’m a bit skeptical of longer-term durability. So far, so good!

Great For Cathedral Cleaning
One of the most frustrating things is a lone strand of spider web that has gathered dust in the uppermost reaches of your ceiling. Our house has a 2 story entry foyer with a large hanging light fixture. Inevitably, some lonesome spider casts a strand 3 weeks after we have dragged out the 10-foot ladder to clean the glass shades. This extension duster from Doben solves the problem with a long reach pole that extends up to 18′. We have previously owned a similar product and welcomed the ability to reach high up into the farthest corners of the ceiling to remove dust webs and other cleaning conundrums. This extension duster allows the common human to reach upwards of 20+ feet, depending on the attachment you are using. The included dusting tools range in length, so this will determine exactly what your reach will be.We appreciate the lever-lock style of securing the pole extensions. The carbon fiber pole is stout and lightweight, so your arms won’t get tired as quickly. We found the chenille and microfiber dusters to be soft and pliant enabling us to gently work between the glass globes on our light fixtures. A stiffer brush is included to chase cobwebs, but we felt it to be too stiff. Still, it will gather webs from the corners. There is also a combination window tool that has a microfiber scrubber on one side and a squeegee on the opposite side. As helpful as the tool may be, we prefer cleaning windows a little closer than 18 feet away. However, if you have a difficult to reach outside window, this may do the trick. We like to use a squeegee for windows, but you need to keep a clean rag to wipe the corners otherwise you will get drips.One additional accessory is an angle adapter. This attachment allows for setting an angle to any of the tools to accommodate fan blades or upper surfaces of fixtures or curtain rods. It’s a handy option.The rod is compact enough when reduced in length. It stores in a lycra bag, though the attachments do not. We wish Doben considered the storage needs for the various attachments. Also, there is a big difference in price with some competitor’s offerings, Doben being the high end of the scale. The difference is mostly in the carbon fiber pole we suspect.

This must be the best extension pole out there. I was surprised when I saw this is made out of carbon fiber. It is super light while at the same time very sturdy. The ceiling of our entrace foyer is very high and spiders love to create a lot of “art” up there, and as you would imagine it is very hard to reach there, unless you are ok with climbing on a super tall ladder. This is the perfect tool for such situations. A short and this can reach every corner. The only con I see is that this is quite expensive, but keep an eye on the price as it is frequently on sale, but if you really need the best extension pole, this is definitely a top quality product.

Great for exterior cleaning
I purchased this for cleaning cobwebs and other nuisances on the exterior of the house. Works great; the firm, stiff bristles will knock off the most stubborn mud dobber home. Long handle is enough to reach under gutters, over doors, etc. Easy to hose off.
