Not dishwasher safe
The lids and bowls have the dishwasher safe symbol, however 2 lids melted when put in top rack of dishwasher.

Not too sure if they are truly leak proof but they are sturdy bowls. Size is perfect for salad lunches

There’s better bowls out there
I got these for free so I’ll still use them but I wouldn’t buy them again. The lid leaked and a couple of bowls cracked after a few uses. If you need a one time plastic bowl or you’re sending someone home with food, this can do the trick but if you want something long term for lunches maybe get something different.
