Excellent, well executed idea!
I love books almost as much as I love things that save space! This was super easy for one person to put together and it’s very sturdy once completed. All the screw holes lined up perfectly. Like other reviews have said, I do put heavier books on the bottom shelves so it’s not top heavy. The laminate on the wood seems really thick, so it should stand up to whatever happens to it. I love the style of wall anchor that came with it also. Now that it’s put together, I love how it looks in my room and I want more!Two things I think need improvement: the lamp shade is quite flimsy and does not flatten out completely once installed, so that kinda bugs me. Also. I feel like a second, split washer should have been included to make the light fixture more sturdy once screwed in. With a washer on only one side of the wood it kind of wobbles. Consider buying a large split washer to fix this issue.NOTE ABOUT COLOR TEMPERATURE: This was not mentioned anywhere in the item description OR manual. To change this, you must turn the pull string on and off to cycle through the colors. I didn’t know that was a feature when I bought it, but it’s kind of annoying. If you miss the color you want, you have to cycle back through all the others to get to it again.

Reasonable and fashionable
The bookcase was very easy to assemble. The instructions were easy to follow and it went together quickly. All the parts were packed well.Itâs not super stable, weâve accidentally knocked it over a couple of times while trying to turn on the light. It wasnât damaged.I recommend using the wall mount and maybe picking up an additional bracket/wire set up.The shelves do not feel very strong. I am nervous of putting too many, or large books on them. The cat did try to climb them and the shelves made worrying cracking sounds but there is no obvious damage.Overall I think it functions as expected. It is both a book display shelf and a nice lamp. Itâs a good quality for the price. Great for dorms or living rooms of the budget conscious.The bulb that is included is a bit dim for my taste but the other roommate thinks itâs perfect for reading at night.

Nice little books shelf with lamp
It looks really nice once assembled, and my unit was not missing any pieces or anything like that. It was a little tricky to assemble as some of the screw holes didnât really line up, however if you only partially tighten the screws you can wiggle them all into place and then tighten it all up. It seems pretty sturdy and comes with a bracket (safety strap) to attach to the wall to keep it from falling over. It is a decent size and functions perfectly!

Very nice bookshelf
This book shelf is so nice. It is very sturdy. I found it pretty easy to put together as long as you pay attention to the placement of the holes. It holds a lot of books and just makes for a great piece in the home. Love it

Great little unique booktree
I absolutely love, love my little booktree. It holds over fourty hard and paperback books. It is sturdy and the addition of the light was just the cherry on top. My only complaint was the horrible instructions. Mostly pictures and the flow of the instructions really didn’t work. I would put the back together first, then the base and then work your way up one shelf at a time, making sure all the screws line up. I swear I put it together and took it apart like three times. If you are great at putting Ikea furniture together, you will not have a problem with this.

Itâs nice BUT
The wood part is pretty. Good quality. Sturdy. My problem is the light cover part. It came broken and wrinkled and bent. Also itâs not sturdy at the bulb part. Not trying waste time and hope for a better replacement. So just returning.
