I highly recommend this mouthwash. My daughter is 7 years old. We’ve been using it for quite some time now. She loves the flavor no complaint, no burning. Sensation in the mouth no cavities

My daughter loves the flavors, specially the bubble gum and watermelon ones. It is a must mouthwash before bedtime. Most interesting part for her is the cap, it is very tricky to get the liquid out, but eventually she learnt it.

Why do ingredients include benzyl alcohol when it is promoted as alcohol free? (see update below)
As you can see in the inactive ingredient image on the product page, benzyl alcohol is the first ingredient listed for the bubble gum version of this rinse. I am therefore at a loss to understand why they can call this “alcohol-free”. I have asked the manufacturer and if I get a response I will update this review.That being said, I love the flavor of this rinse. I hope it is as effective as the mint flavor (different inactive ingredients and no benzyl alcohol listed in that one) because I prefer the flavor of the bubble gum.3/27/24 update:The manufacturer responded to my inquiry about alcohol as follows:ACT Rinse / Mouthwash, while the label states it contains âBenzyl Alcoholâ, doesnât contain âAlcoholâ as defined by the US Food and Drug Administration and therefore the label correctly states âalcohol freeâ. The term alcohol used for labeling of foods, drugs and cosmetics in the United States pertains to ethanol or ethyl alcohol.The Benzyl Alcohol in our ACT Rinse / Mouthwash products is in the product in a very small percentage and is used as a preservative for the product (such as certain ingredients added to foods to keep them from spoiling â BHT in bread for instance) and has very different properties than Ethyl Alcohol.
