Do it, your nose will thank you.
Wow! Iâve never ever received an item and felt it was so vastly superior to other options that I needed to write a review immediately, until I tried the airmax nasal dilators. I have silent acid reflux that inflames my whole Eustachian tube, my ears are always popping and itâs always harder to breather. Recently I started using the mute system, because it was all cvs had when I went. They worked okay but I always felt like they needed adjusting and, while they stayed in just fine, they didnât stay where Iâd put them, theyâd just slide to a spot they sat in better. And after about 4 hours of using them, my nose was pretty irritated. So I bought these and the sleep rite sport dilators as well. The sleep rite has no size control and the plastic is too thick for my grumpy nasal passages.When I put these into my irritated nose, it was incredible. While I canât technically say I donât feel them (only in the sense that I feel my nostrils are stretched) they are VERY comfortable (thanks to the reviewer who noted thereâs no sharp spots ð). Seriously I could wear these all days with extreme comfort. I barely notice theyâre in my nose.And they do exactly what I need them toâthe mute ones I used sometimes felt like they were also blocking my breathing if they were in the wrong spot. These ones donât feel obstructive or intrusive in any way.Andâthereâs moreâeven though theyâre not noduled to stay in, the material that mackâs Uses is the grippy kind of soft plastic that by its nature is able to stay put.Iâm in love. Officially found the brand to save me from my breathing woes. Thereâs a lot of nasal dilators out there, some of them have better reviews. But Iâm betting none of those people tried these before they wrote their reviews. I canât imagine why anyone would prefer any other product of this one.

Works great but has issues
I had surgery inside my sinus cavities. The doc warned me against using nasal sprays but I needed something that would allow me to breathe through my nose. The doc recommended the AIRMAX nasal dilator and I ordered it. Immediately after inserting it into my nose, I had relief… I could breathe through my nose. It caused a little discomfort but that was to be expected since I was still healing from the surgery. I wore the AIRMAX for 2 days…. all night and most of the day… which may be part of the problem. Around day 3 things started to hurt a lot more. The septum and the skin separating the nostrils was getting progressively more tender. By day 4 I couldn’t wear the AIRMAX. the septum and skin separating the nostrils had a large bump / blister that was very painful. I don’t know if there’s something in the AIRMAX that I’m allergic to or maybe I wore it longer than I should have???? When I could wear it, it worked pretty darn well…. I’ll try only wearing it at night. I had no issues with it falling out while sleeping as some people have reported. I do see that others have reported getting a blister / bump inside their nose from wearing this.Bottom line… if you can wear it without any adverse reactions…. it’s a winner… obviously, if you have a reaction like mine you might want to try something different. The doctor that suggested it to me said he had never heard any reports of allergic reactions. For the price, it’s worth a try. The trial pack comes in small – medium so you can try each size to get the right fit. They came in a round plastic holder that kept them clean. I will try using this in conjunction with breathe right strips and silicone nose cones that I also purchased from Amazon.

These don’t work and hurt
Unless you have a nose and nostrils the size of an orc, these are way too big to use, and I got the smallest size. AND I have a rather large but narrow nose. I could barely get them IN my nose and could never put them completely in place where they would stay. They kept sliding out like skinny jeans slide down a fat body. It ended up giving me a nosebleed on one side. They were uncomfortable to the point of painful.

My ENT dr. recommended-it does help a lot
Breathe Right strips sometimes lose their adhesion grip, despite putting on clean skin. I have terrible allergies and one nasal passage is collapsing in some, so I wake up with one side completely shut. I got the pair of two in clear color as it was my 1st try with these and I wanted both sizes. I have been using the large one. It’s easy to insert and you will notice an immediate improvement in air flow. It stays put for the most part unless you move a lot in your sleep. At times when I toss around, I do wake up with it starting to slip out. I have used this probably 35 times now and wash it daily & air dry. I’m noticing the plastic seems to be not as firm, but it still works. I have had some irritation in my nasal passages but I think it’s because of spring allergies, not the dilator. When I buy my next pair, I will not get clear as if you lose it during sleep or misplace it, it’s really hard to see/find it. Only complaint is the price seems extremely high.

If you have small nasal openings, this is a wonderful product to help open the air path. It took a bit to get comfortable w/ it when it was inserted, but it was easy to feel the immediate results.
