Adorable
This has been a lifesaver for my new puppy in his crate. It really helped comfort him that first couple of hours in his crate. The tough part is having a VERY small screwdriver that’s tiny enough to unscrew the “heart” where the battery is located, which is located in the back of the lower neck of the toy. So I’m taking a point off because if I didn’t already have a set of screwdrivers like this I’d be very frustrated, especially if I was trying to put it together that night for my puppy to use. Add a tiny screwdriver in the package.

It comes with batteries and they were corroded and not usable. I had to purchase new ones and they are LR-44 and it takes 3.

Dog’s favorite toy
This is my second time purchasing this. The first time was over a year ago when I got my little Cavalier King Charles puppy. She immediately loved this lamb. She didn’t care about the heart beat. She just loved the stuffed lamb. She would drag this all over the house. It was way bigger than her. Over a year later, I needed to buy a new one, or so I thought. She had chewed the ears off the first one and it was so dirty and ragged (held up well for her little mouth). She was happy to see the new one. It’s just a bit smaller than she is, but she still prefers her stinky, dirty, ratty looking old one. Lol

Cheap and not as advertised
When I opened up my package to test out the heart, I realized this was not what was advertised or shown. Per the informational card it came with, the heart beat only lasts 20 minutes before you need to replace the batteries, unlike the 8 hours continuous use it has in the description online. The heart is cheap and was covered in battery acid/ corrosion when I got it. 10/10 Do NOT recommend. Spend the money and get a better one

Smaller Size, Higher Price
I have a 2.5 year old dachshund. Like many people, I was recommended to get this for him because he could not handle being crated alone at night or when home alone. To this day, this is his security toy. He nurses in the ear, and he snuggles. He loves the texture and size of it and he carries it everywhere. When heâs over tired, he NEEDS his lambie. He is a dog, and obviously rough houses with it with his friends. Therefore, I am a FREQUENT re-purchaser. I think weâre on our 6th or 7th lambie in his life – itâs the only toy he must have.Iâve noticed the price has been steadily rising over the years. But again, itâs a necessity for him, so not a big deal. However, today we got our new lambie andâ¦. Well, it looks like an imposter. Much smaller, he wonât be able to cuddle the way he likes, and Iâm just hoping he takes to the new ear and head size.I see thereâs a warning on here that itâs a frequently returned item, so Iâm putting this review as a long time lambie buyer mainly to say the price is going up while the lambie is getting smaller. If there are any other frequent lambie replacers⦠fair warning, youâll be disappointed when a much smaller lambie is delivered stuffed inside of a box instead of what weâre used to. It may not be much of a difference now, but itâs noticeable, especially when itâs a security item for babies or dogs with anxiety.

Puppy’s first love
I bought this for my dog when she first came home. She didn’t cry that first night with the lamb. It has a battery operated heartbeat which I think made her feel as if she had her Mom or litter mates. Great price as well. I just bought this one for my friend. She bought a puppy and used it also on his first night without his other litter mates and Mom, he also slept straight through the night. If you ever had a puppy, we all know the first night is difficult for them and for the owner. I think they find comfort because it’s a good size and the heartbeat sound helps too. It comes in different animals also. I happen to like the lamb.

Happy with product. Purchased to keep our lovely, aging cat company. She snuggles to it in her chair. Only difficulties – warming pad not easy to get out and then Re secure in toy; battery for heart beat dies not last very long and is a little loud. Otherwise satisfied, and it has been helpful.

My 9 week old sproodle puppy loves this but I saw her with something in her mouth, thought is was a strand of cotton but was actually wire. Had to remove it. The photo is of all the zip parts and the wire. Just be aware.
