Bitter and Burnt for a Light Roast
Not the usual Allegro quality. For a light roast, this coffee tastes rather bitter and looks rather dark before brewed. The aroma is good when freshly opened but other than the fact that it arrived promptly, that’s about the only good thing about this coffee. I’m disappointed that this relatively expensive coffee is not to my expectation. I do not notice any of the tasting notes listed on the bag; cocoa, almond or lemon. I drink it black and brew it in a Mr Coffee machine, as shown.I will not purchase this coffee again unless there is absolutely nothing else available.
