We have these shelves in three rooms right now. They are perfect and easy to install. Came with everything you need. We have the dark ones in the other rooms but chose this lighter one for this space. They hold quite a bit of books and very sturdy. Love the color and weight.

Different mounting mechanism than photos
I’m going to start off this review by stating that the mounting mechanism used on the Shelf is different than the one shown in the photo. In the photo, it shows a single bar which would have made the Shelf easier to level however, the product I received has two separate bars which means I have to be extra careful holding a level against the paper. Stencil. The reason I chose this product over different listings was because for a dollar or two more its photo showed a single bar.Now for the pros and cons:Pros:Accurate measurement.Shelf appears to be actual wood! The photos made it looks like a veneer, which it is not.Easy to install.Includes good instructions.Seems like it can hold items fairly well.Cons:The mounting hardware for drywall pretty flimsy, and I stripped out some of the drywall anchors during install. They still worked, but it was annoying to finish inserting them.The shelf doesn’t sit fully flush to the wall from factory as the screws included make it protrude slightly. I can fix this with my dremel, However, This could have been solved from the factory by making the cavity slightly deeper.As mentioned above in my main detractor, it is a two bar mounting system rather than a one bar, which was shown in the photo.

Cheap and easy
This product is not super sturdy but what can you expect with the price? Itâs really just right for what we were wanting. This is not meant to carry heavy objects. The wood seems almost hollow. The guide it comes with makes it really easy to hang up straight.

Great Shelves!
I love that these are solid wood and they look really nice, the quality is great. The fit is great as well. I noticed that some of these reviews said that the pegs didnât hold the shelf flat against the wall and had some slack. If that is your problem, widen one or both of the pegs on the wall so that it fits more snug in the holes on the backside of the shelves. It adds some tension and completely takes out any movement in the shelves. Great value for the money.

NOT sturdy!
shelves sag forward heavily, it looks so bad. we spent a lot of time making sure the shelves would be even before we drilled (I placed 3 in a row). of course, they are not even and when a few pounds are on the shelves they sag forward to the point where you think they might actually fall off. some sag more than others, making them more uneven from one another. I bought these because of the price, but now I am spending more money on brackets and other fixes to make them even. i would return them and get something more visually pleasing and functional if it weren’t for the massive holes in my walls from these. disappointed and frustrated to say the least, especially considering the high ratings

Some of the positives for me wood be the look of the natural wood with the staining.It came with all the necessary accessories for wall mounting. Including four templates to easily mark where you need to drill holes in the wall.Seems very sturdy once mounted. Just don’t try and hang off it.ðThe one negative for me is that it doesn’t feel like very solid wood but it mounted well and looks good. So grains of salt people.

I don’t like that there isn’t another screw into the shelf and bracket to secure it, but I’m using it for decorative knick knacks in the powder room, so it’s fine for my use. The edges are rough and the wood feels super cheap. I probably could’ve just made it out of better wood for that price.
