Good, crunchy LITTLE cookies, pricey
I didn’t reduce the overall rating because of the value or size of the cookies because I have purchased these at Whole Foods in the past so I already knew that they were a bit pricey for what you get, and I knew they were small cookies. I like that, because I can pop one into my mouth at a time instead of biting a bigger cookie and getting crumbs on me. The amount you get for the price isn’t a great value but I like Amy’s brand for lots of things and it was a choice to get them knowing they are organic. I like a really good soft chocolate chip cookie but sometimes these little crunchy ones are perfect for a snack. I’ll buy the again but will likely buy them in person and pay a little less.The one complaint I have is about the way that Amazon shipped them – and this doesn’t affect my rating of the cookies at all. This is an Amazon problem, not an Amy’s problem. Why would they put a box of cookies in an envelope to ship? One of two boxes was shipped that way and came smashed, cookies were crumbles. I didn’t bother going through the hassle of returning them but this ticked me off. And this has been happening quite a bit lately. I have received boxes of tea in an envelope, smashed so that I can’t put the box in the cupboard (it’s wrecked) so I have to put the tea bags into another container. I received a couple other boxed items that way, also smashed though not horribly, and they shipped my cardboard containers of salt that way. What gives Amazon??
