Defeats dry mouth
Successfully keeps mouth (and lips) closed to prevent mouth breathing and subsequent dry mouth. Allows CPAP machine to operate without air leakage. This is so much better than the chin strap approved by Medicare, and is a good value. It is completely adjustable for different head sizes and shapes. The Velcro seems to be sturdy. Hopefully it will hold up through many washings. So far, have only washed 3 times, but itâs holding up well. Highly recommend!

Doesn’t work if you’re a true lumber jack
I mean, if you really saw logs like a chainsaw, she’s still going to get up and sleep in the other room. I think it helped slightly, but if I was on my back I was still snoring.

Update: I have to take two stars away. It’s stretched out so much my mouth is falling open. I’ve only had it a couple months and it’s already useless.NOTICE: don’t use this so tightly that it forces you to keep your teeth clenched. You should be able to still own your mouth easily. It’s designed to keep your mouth from falling over, not to force your mouth shut.So I have a pretty bad underbite that for some reason seemed to get. Bad out of no where, I’ve never really been a mouth breather at night, but the past couple weeks it’s been bad. Waking up in the middle of the night needing to swish water around my mouth. Wildly uncomfortable. I wasn’t even sure things like this existed, but then found a few different styles. I kept wondering which woukd be the best and stay on most likely to stay on in the night and landed on this. I used it for the first time last night. I wish I’d gotten it earlier. First, it’s much more comfortable than you’d think. It’s not tight, but just snug enough to keep your mouth from falling open in the night. I didn’t have any trouble falling asleep with it, and it stayed in place all night. I slept until 10am, (went to sleep around 1am)without waking up once. That’s is unheard of for me.I’m so impressed and happy with this purchase and the price is unbeatable.I’ve never been told I snore, but if you do i imagine this would solve the issue with minimal sleeping adjustments

Takes patience to learn the right position
I basically waited a year before using my chin strap for the first time because I didn’t like the idea of wearing the crazy thing. However, having used it for a couple of months, I wish I’d started sooner. Like any other appliance including a CPAP mask, you have to find what starting position works for you. It can work its way back onto the throat meaning it didn’t do anything or forward up over the chin and onto the mouth.Okay, so I don’t like it, but it does the job better than without and I’ve not found one that I like any better. It does help keep my mouth closed and the cpap stats after the first week of figuring it out prove it. And now I’m very comfortable with 7 hours of sleep instead of 8.5 or 9. So there’s that. That said, I don’t know how long it will last with cleaning and drying it. It honestly feels pretty flimsy, but that might be due to having a comfortable fabric and being extremely stretchy. One thing that I like for sure is that it has two velcro straps, one for the top of the head and one for the back, meaning that they’ve done all they can to stop it from sliding around. I’m ordering a second one to allow for more flexibility in washing/drying it and just in case the first one breaks. At this price, buying a second is a no-brainer.

Product okay but a very good company
Canât get it tight enough. Material is too stretchy and you run out of adjustment. The company reached out to me and gave me a full refund. I wouldnât hesitate to purchase any of their products.

Uncomfortable
If you can manage to get the Velcro straps tightened enough, this mask would probably hold your mouth closed. Unfortunately, in order to get it that tight, the mouth is almost covered with material also. Trying to adjust the straps over hair is very difficult, because if you tighten it too much, the strap will begin to slide, pushing hair up out of the way, and come off the head. There’s so much material around the face that it feels like a towel has been wrapped around it. Since one also has to add the CPAP, the face is almost completely covered. While some people might be able to use this, neither I, nor I suspect most claustrophobics, can do so. I would return it if my return window had not already expired. I suppose Goodwill is about to gain another donation.

It’s a relief
I am delighted with this device. It’s working really well for me. It keeps my mouth closed all night. It’s lightweight, and I’m not aware of being in place. It seems to provide the perfect tension for me: It keeps my mouth closed, but doesn’t make it difficult to open it — to speak, for example. This device has two straps, one that goes over the top of the head, one that goes behind. That makes it easy for me to have the tension I want, and to keep it in place all night. I don’t undo the top strap when I take it off, so when I put it on the next night, the tension is just what I want.` I put it on, close the back strap, and I’m done. The closures are similar to velcro, but better, I think. They are easy to use, and work really well. When this first arrived, I thought that it was cheesy-flimsy. It IS flimsy, in that it is thin, lightweight, and stretchy. And that turns out to be perfect. I usually sleep on my side. I never feel some lump or protrusion digging into my head; I really do forget that it’s there.I plan to buy two more of these. One will be a backup for me. It can’t last forever, and whenever it dies, I want to have another one ready to go. The second one will be drop-shipped to a friend who I know has breathing/snoring issues while sleeping.

Too loose
So I bought for my son to help him sleep with his mouth close but did not work. Itâs comfortable. But the very elastic. And his mouth just drops open. Even though I tighten it. It wasnât for him.

I bought three devices and this was one of them. It didnât have enough power to keep my jaw closed. Also was hot on the head to wear. Didnât work for me.

Este producto es realmente efectivo especial mente para personas con la cabeza pequeña aunque logra estirarse y adaptarse a todos los tamaños de cabezas.
James –
It’s so easy to use. Very comfortable too.
Yop1403 –
Unlike others I find the material comfy. The problem is that it is extremely sttetchy. It doesnât matter how much I tighten the velcros – I can always open my mouth – sothis thing is rendered useless for me.
