Comfortable & works well for my needs
My CPAP was the greatest thing that happened to me when I received it approximately 7 years ago. However, I recently lost 130 lbs and the size of my neck reduced significantly. I think that’s what used to help keep my jaw pushed up while I slept. Now that my huge neck is (thankfully) gone, my jaw/mouth has been falling open while I sleep, and my CPAP has not been working correctly.I have a nose pillow mask and I have been waking up several times each night with a mouth like the Sahara desert because the air was just pushing into my nose and out through my mouth, rendering the CPAP ineffective. I started feeling a lot more tired during the day and was getting notifications on my CPAP that I had a bad mask seal. It was suggested that I get a chin strap to help keep my jaw closed while I slept.I have to say, a lot of the reviews for the majority of the chin straps I have seen on Amazon have not been great. I took a chance on this one and am pleasantly surprised. The material is very lightweight and comfortable. I like the Y-shaped head strap because it keeps it in place all night. In fact, I don’t think I would have been happy with some of the other ones I have seen because I feel like they would probably slide around and not be secure, especially since I am a somewhat restless side sleeper. It is adjustable on the side with Velcro but none of that rubs against my face or causes irritation. I was really worried about it feeling restrictive, but I didn’t have to make it very tight in order to get it to work.I have been using this chin strap for about a week now and it seems to have solved my problem. It keeps my mouth closed and I’m no longer waking up several times throughout the night. I’m FINALLY getting restful sleep once again.

It works
I ordered another model from another company first but had to return it because the strap was too short. This strap is long and very adjustable with velcro. It takes a few nights with incremental adjustments to get it right – not too loose and not too tight. After a few night I am almost not aware that I wear it, I think partly because it’s just a thin strap and nothing else covering the face. There are two aspects that make me not giving it 5 stars:1) The quality doesn’t feel good. We just have to wait and see how long it will last2) A few times the strap falls off as I turn in my sleep. But I don’t want to tighten the strap anymore, because then it becomes uncomfortable. But still, the most important part is that after I started wearing it I don’t wake up my wife anymore. So it works!

Slips off
I got this to help with my CPAP keeping my mouth closed, it’s comfortable and fits good, and works, my only issue is overnight it would slip off & under my Nose pillow mask assembly and be on my forehead, no longer keeping my mouth closed. I have washed it to make sure it was clean, but the same issue happened. Not sure a good solution other than making the back strap sit further back and down on the head?I am now trying other brands to find one that says in place.

This is the best chin strap for CPAP users
While I have used a CPAP for years, my doctor suggested I start using a chin strap. I tried several including one from my CPAP store. They were either too light to hold my chin or so bulky I had trouble fitting my CPAP mask. This one works. It is thin enough so I can get a good mask fit and is comfortable. Some reviewers commented on the light weight of the material and its durability, but I have found that CPAP equipment needs to be replaced frequently as the straps in particular are difficult to clean. I like that you can order this chin strap in a three pack and I plan on placing this chin strap on an automatic reorder

I would give this NO STARS if I could
This product is worthless!! The chin strap is just a flat piece of material so there is no way it will hold your chin. No matter how tight you adjust it, there is no way it will hold your mouth closed. Unfortunately, I didnât try it on in time to return it.

Helps with CPAP!
My husband loves this chin strap! He uses it with his CPAP machine. His that the doctor gave him had worn out.

Chin strap
Easy to put on, take off and adjust. Nice notch for chin to sit in. Does not stop the snoring any better than the strap from sleep store. Much more comfortable though.

Very comfortable, sufficiently sturdy, really works
I bought this strap 2.5 years ago and have worn it every night since. It’s now worn out after several washings and I am ordering another one. What finally gave out was one of the Velcro parts separated from the cloth material — I could glue them back together but it’s time for a new strap. All of the other parts of the strap are still holding up well. It’s light-weight, soft, and very comfortable and it keeps my mouth closed at night. It really works for me. I can’t sleep well without this strap. The parts that touch your skin are a silk-like material — very soft. I like the opening that fits over your chin so you still have support of the strap but the fabric can breathe. The strap is easy to adjust and once adjusted, you don’t need to change it again.
