Puppy likes the toothpaste
Overall very happy with it. The finger cover was a bit of a left down, it’s just a small piece of cloth that covers you finger. The toothbrush is also just a basic toothbrush. The toothepast however is great. Our puppy will come running to eat the toothpaste. We have worked our way up to actually brushing his teeth. He eats his poop if we don’t beat him to it, so keeping his mouth fresh is a must

My 6 month old kitten actually slapped me after tasting the toothpaste LOL I tried again the next day, & again he ‘slapped’ my hand lol The toothbrush is working out, but not the toothpaste. I think it’s a great deal, & do recommend the product.

This toothpaste has been great for Miss Bagel! I usually feed her a gabapentin capsule before grooming but she doesnât mind the flavor this time. And her breath is much fresher. Itâs easy to use with the finger brush. Highly recommend

Not Really good for pets
1. Bristles on ‘tooth brush’ WAY too hard. No Dentist in the world would recommend something this stiff to be used on delicate gums – so why you would want to use it on your pet is a mystery to me.2. Tuna Flavored… has menthol flavor too (yes I tasted it). Why? Cats don’t care if their mouths feel fresh and cool, in fact based on my Clutter – they freaking hate menthol/mint. They are slightly intrigued by the tuna flavor /odor, but there is much head shaking trying to get the yuck sensation out of their mouths from the menthol. I suspect Arm and Hammer does not have the depth of knowledge necessary to be offering products in this market. Regardless, it does not work for my cats. The search continues, but based on learnings from this product – we are going with products designed and approved by vets and dentists.

My dog liked the taste
My dog had never had his teeth brushed, so I thought he’d fight getting his teeth brushed. I gave him a tiny taste of this toothpaste. Since its peanut butter flavored, he started licking. I was able to get his front teeth brushed but not yet for behind his teeth.
