Dark Chocolate Royale
Atkin’s protein shakes are a treat for us. With only 2 grams net carbohydrates, the Dark Chocolate Royale is delicious and perfect when family members are baking and/or consuming sweets. They reduce cravings and I find them very filling. I prefer vanilla and the dark chocolate to the other flavors most of the time. It’s great to have a variety on hand, chilled and ready to drink. Perfect to keep at work and at home. Recommend.

Surprisingly Good
I’ve tried about every protein drink on the market and this is the one I always return to. The flavor is creamy and chocolatey without the overwhelming taste of cocoa/dark chocolate that other brands seem to favor. They’re low in calories and low in carbohydrates while still containing a decent amount of protein. They are smaller than some other protein drinks but I find them quite filling and often grab one for lunch when I’m busy with work and don’t have time to make something, or when I’m trying to shed a few pounds – they tend to keep me, a full grown man, full for at least a couple of hours. We have a type 1 diabetic in the family and these are great for him due to the low carb count. On family road trips we tend to pack a few of these as a handy and very portable snack (or, in a pinch) lunch. Good stuff!

Barely a hint of banana taste
Itâs great tasting & creamy, with no chalky aftertaste. Itâs delicious, but would be even better with a bit more banana flavor.It somewhat helps energy. Would only purchase when on sale.

Another great shake
The Atkins brand has done it again: this is delicious and nutritious. VERY pumpkin spice. Of course, I always mix such shakes with about 4 oz. of half & half to help keep me fuller til lunchtime (and it helps a little with flavor too), but even straight out of the box you won’t be disappointed. I wish it had another gram or two of dietary fiber, but beggars can’t be choosers. We’ll see if the caffeine content is equal to their other ‘coffee’ related shakes, but still…great product!
