Great fit for a pull on pant
Took a chance and ordered 3 different varities of Avalanche pants. This black version, high waist with no tie, was the winner. I am long waisted, short wheeled, 5’6″ and average between an 8-10 or M in pants. The medium was roomy without being oversized or baggy. The fabric has stretch but just enough – so far does not bag out. The tapered leg is very flattering, doesn’t cling but still has some shape – can easily go from the hiking trail to evening because of its clean silhouette – no cargo pockets or zippers below the pocket area. Also, the center seam is very flattering as well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent
These are great! I wore mine for the first time camping in heavy rain storms in colorado. They dried very quickly, water repellent, very comfortable!! Fit is true to size. I would almost say these may be too long for shorter women though. Iâm 5â8â and they hit the bottom of my foot when not cinched. Cinched they barely hit my ankle. I love them.

Comfy
I had found these pants in green at a local discount store at 50% off and they immediately became my favorite pants. Extremely comfortable, light weight, and look nicer than yoga or sweatpants for running errands. Pockets are a little small for carrying a phone. I was unsuccessful in finding the black locally and was happy to find them on Amazon. I decided they were worth the extra cost and ordered them. My only disappointment is the black pair seem slightly smaller than the green and the material seems slightly stiffer. They still fit, just not 100% comfortable like the green.

Great pants
These are super comfortable to wear in hot, muggy weather. Love all the pockets. The ankle length makes them look a bit more stylish than typical hiking pants. I’m starting to really like this brand. You get a quality garment for so much less than other outdoor clothing retailers. I wish there were more color choices. These would be great in dark olive, navy blue, or charcoal.
