Non greasy with a pleasant (faint) smell and only a little bit does the job.
It’s the only product I’ve ever used on my hair. The woman who cuts my hair recommended it years ago and I used to buy it at the salon. The stopped carrying that line but I was able to find it online.

My husband discovered this styling product when I was working at an Aveda salon. He has used it for years, and hasnât found anything that compares. Also, despite the price, it lasts a very long time!

finally tamed my hair
I have thick, wavy hair that tends to poof out as it gets longer and especially immediately after washing, and I’ve never been able to manage it well; the best I’ve done is have it be frizzy the first day after washing, decent the second and third day, and then need to wash again by day 4; switched over to aveda shampoo, conditioner, this cream, and sometimes their grooming clay and I can finally manage my hair every day; this cream and the grooming clay work very well and don’t make it look like I have any “product” in my hair; unfortunately expensive, but I haven’t found anything else that works as well
