    great!
    this was delicious, i was worried it’d taste strongly of chickpea but it’s not far off from regular pasta! expect a different texture though, it will not be as chewy as traditional pasta. i love that it’s high in protein and doesn’t make me as lethargic as regular pasta does. would definitely recommend it. (ps: keep an eye on it while it’s cooking)

    The best of both worlds
    I love the cascatelli shape for all the reasons you can read on the box. It’s my favorite shape of pasta. And making it out of chickpeas is perfect; much better nutrition than semolina.

    Would be great if ruffled part didn’t fall off.
    I love Banza pasta. I’m not even trying to avoid gluten, it’s just a healthier replacement that is almost as good if not as good as other pastas.However, these pretty much lose the benefit of the novel shape because the vertical ruffles fall off as soon as you stir the cooked pasta, even on the firm side of al dente.Banza Cavatappi is going to remain my go-to for sauceability.

    Terrible taste and texture
    I was hoping this pasta would be delicious, as I love chickpea flour. However, the taste was horrible so I cooked it a little longer. Afterward, not only did it still taste bad but it was falling apart. Giving it two stars instead of one because it’s gluten free, which some people will appreciate. Perhaps my review is harsh as this may be par for the course for gluten-free pasta.

    Wings turn into worms
    In order for the middle part to get all the way cooked, the wings get overdone and then fall off and look like worms in your bowl. New doesn’t always mean better.

    Falls apart
    I love the original cascatelli pasta so I was excited to find this version for my gluten free friends. I cooked it for 12 minutes or less. It fell apart and was inedible.
