The Bauducco story starts back in 1948 when Carlo Bauducco traveled from Italy to Brazil and brought his family’s original Panettone recipe along with a precious piece of mother dough. Item arrived with an expiration date eleven months out (so, the product is fresh). Two classic flavors to choose from (vanilla and chocolate). Individually wrapped, so easy to carry in purse, school bag, lunch box, etc. The container is sturdy and can be repurposed, after the treats are consumed. I even think this would make a nice gift for let’s say, a teacher, neighbor, friend, etc. Great value. Will repurchase.

Tasty wafers, but a little too sweet
These wafers are light, crispy, and have a great texture that makes them perfect for a quick snack or a dessert topping. The flavor is delicious and has a nice balance of vanilla and cream, making them a hit with the whole family. However, I find them to be a bit too sweet for my liking. After a few bites, the sweetness becomes a little overwhelming. The packaging is also not the best; some wafers were broken when they arrived. Overall, theyâre tasty and satisfying but could use a bit less sugar for a more balanced flavor!

Taste good
These are good wafer cookies. They are not sweet and are a great little snack for kids. Vanilla- I received them August 3, 2024 and the best by date is June 7, 2025.Peanut Butter- Received August 4, 2024 and the best by date is January 26, 2025. These have a very light peanut butter taste and are soft.Chocolate- Received August 4, 2024 and the best by date is September 16, 2024. Soft wafer cookie and can barely taste the chocolate. The chocolate does leave a waxy taste in your mouth.

Lacking in chocolate-ness
I ordered the vanilla and chocolate wafer variety. The vanilla tastes pretty much as expected, but the chocolate flavor despite having cocoa as an ingredient has no trace of chocolate flavor, it’s just kind of generically sweet. Both types of wafers have a pleasing crispness but a definite oily afterfeel, so I’m kind of neutral on this overall.It might be a good snack to pack with your lunch because the ten or so small wafer bars in each packet lends themselves to taking your time and enjoying them.. but I’d rather opt for something with a better flavor. Even just getting the vanilla ones which taste decent enough, but definitely pass on the chocolate which doesn’t taste like anything in particular.
