I’ve been using this beard trimmer for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Works well and charge lasts a while!
I was worried about the performance of this trimmer given the lack of name brand, but after a month, its holding up and working well. I originally bought this to replace a Wahl trimmer that finally give up the ghost after several years of use. What was important to me were the various cutting heads – nose hair, small and large trim heads, and shaver. This OLOV unit came with all of them and a few more.
The charging stand fits nicely into my medicine cabinet with internal plug so I can keep it out of sight when not in use. While the rack for accessories is too large for the medicine cabinet, it fits in the drawer of my sink stand, so all good overall.
From an operation standpoint, I like the dual speed options on this trimmer and the smooth quiet operation. The cutting heads are efficient and cut hairs well. I have even used this on my dog’s hairs between his paws, which get so long he slides around on our hardwood floors! It’s so quiet, my dog doesn’t mind my using it on him (one cutting head kept just for that use!). The switch to turn on and toggle between slow and fast speeds took some getting used to, but after a while, it was easy to remember how. Overall, a good unit for the price.
