Good quality, works great, easy to install
The whole unit, except the mirror and mirror housing, is made of metal. You can tell because it is cold to the touch. Once you installed the mounting bracket to the bike’s handle bar, you insert the unit into it and you’re done. Personally, I deviated from the instructions and took the nut out before insertion and then put the nut on to secure the unit with a range. The mirror is on a socket that can be rotated to the position you want. With the left and right units installed, I can see everything behind me. The mirror is crystal clear and objects are not too far back in the mirror. The mirror doesn’t move when I rode my bike. Yes, my arm blocked part of the view because I don’t like the mirror sticking high up, but I can still see plenty of the road behind me. For those who don’t like that, the other choice is to get a mirror that installs at the end of the bar. My bike doesn’t have an opening at the end of the handle bar and I don’t want to cut a hole, plus the drawback of that kind of mirror is that it can stick too far out and gets in the way of things, also if the bike topples, the mirror may get damaged. So the there is pros and cons of either format. Just get what you’re happy with. I’m happy with mine.

Decent mirrors for the price
They are well-built, strong mirrors that don’t shake while riding. I may need to do a bit more road riding to see how they perform but, because of the slim design, the visibility doesn’t seem as optimal. They do the job though. Maybe I’m used to car mirrors so much that they seem to lack a bit of visibility (or I haven’t adjusted them as I should but round mirrors may be the better option. Only time will tell…

These will definitely rub the paint off your handlebar
The mirror is decent enough with a good range of vision on the road. The supportive arms seem sturdy and even stylish! However, the kit didn’t include any protection (such as plastic or rubber), and instead one must attach the supporting bracket which is hard metal directly to the handlebar. There literally isn’t any extra space available to do it yourself; I tried and couldn’t get a homemade strip of plastic to fit in the tiny space between the screw-in bracket that connects to handlebar. Also, beware not to overtighten with the supplied hex key because both the screw-head and the hex key are cheapy quality and will easily get warped.
