Amazing but expensive & packaging is bad
I had mixed reviews about this when I bought it, mostly because of the scent. I hate it. Itâs a clean scent but itâs not sexy or appealing. And letâs be honest, if itâs not going to be sexy or appealing why even make it fragranced? I have used tons of products with âgender neutralâ scents that have been able to smell amazing on both sexes, whatâs the excuse for this one because this isnât one of them. But Itâs OK I guess. The real determining factor for why I keep using this is how well it moisturizes. Here are how I use it:The second I get out of the shower, Iâll use a thin layer all over my body to lock in the hydration. Then Iâll follow up with my regular body moisturizer, THEN Iâll put another layer of this on top to seal it in. One may wonder.. why donât you use a good moisturizer? Well, my skin eats âgood moisturizersâ for breakfast. To be honest, when this is applied to dry skin, all it does is sit on top of the roughness. This needs to be applied WITH something that has water in it OR on top of a water based moisturizer, alone it simply just creates a barrier. But it work wonderfully. When I wake up the next day, my legs are so soft, hydrated, and repaired! They will have the slightest bit of residue but itâs not overly greasy or an oily feel, itâs wonderful. It truly locks in hydration so well. I do have several gripes, though.#1, it seriously has the worlds WORST PACKAGING. I hate everything about it!!! I hate the cheap flip lid, and I hate digging my fingers in it! Why couldnât this be in a squeeze tube for crying out loud. Itâs ridiculous.#2, Of course I gotta sound off about the price. Lord have freaking Mercy. For someone who has to use this everyday to manage their scaly skin; I hate having to ration every little bit that I use. I swear to God, the 6.7oz that are allegedly in this tub seem to disappear like thereâs really only 3.4oz!!! They need to make like a 12oz or a 16oz bottle because I need pump or a tube to be able to use this without fumbling with a cheap disgusting flip top lid that could open up easily if traveled with. Bio-oil please listen: give us more quantity for less money & improve the packaging itâs stupid!!!Iâd 100% recommend this to anyone for use in conjunction with a hydrating water based moisturizer. Makes you use less moisturizer and get better results. I love it. I also use sunless tanner and it doesnât remove my tan.

Excellent for dry skin!
I’ve been familiar with the Bio Oil products for a few years, but I’ve never tried any of them until I ordered this Gel. It was featured on one of the morning talk shows. I came to Amazon to read the reviews and decided to give the Gel a try. I am very pleased with the results. I have very dry skin, this absorbs well and makes my skin feel wonderful. A few reviews mentioned an odor, I haven’t noticed an odor and I am sensitive to smells due to allergies that I basically have year-round.

Good Dry Skin Gel.
I have very dry skin. The product is so easy to use and leaves my skin feeling silky and moist. The gel smooths on so easily and you can feel the difference immediately. Although I love it and will buy it again, I wish that they would make a version for very dry skin. The product has been useful for my dry parched legs and arms. I need to buy a larger size when I purchase this again.

Affordable skin care and fast acting
I love it , I recommend you applying a small amount after a shower it renewed my super dry flaky skin with 2 uses , the dryness in my skin was bad and I needed something affordable and this was just everything . The consistency is very buttery like kinda like coco butter def worth my money !

Its Bio Oil in gel form – no magic
As a gel girl, Iâm loving this era. Iâm 60 and still a skincare fanatic. What Iâve loved about this gel era is that I use them as a morning-refresh moisturizer, or a quick light mid-day moisturizer. They allow me to stay hydrated, but not as heavily moisturized as I am at night. My current OG gel moisturizer remains Belif Aqua Bomb – this Bio Oil brand gel did not knock her off the throne. Belif is $52 however for 3.37 oz pot and I rip through her because itâs such a delight to smear her on. Thought I would give this Bio Oil gel a test run because I love the brand, I love the fragrance of bio oil, Iâve used it for years – thought I would try to price beat the Belif. However this product held no magic. It’s just Bio Oil in gel form. Exactly as they market it, so no disrespect at all. Itâs lovely. But it doesnât absorb like other gels – it just stays an oil on your face. So maybe nice for some of you who want to sleep in it. But it gets my very lowest mark for a unique data point Iâll call eye-drift. It slowly works its way into my eyes. No thank you. Such a pretty pink color and sweet familiar smell. Wish I loved it.

I use the oil and the lotion- this is a nice addition to the product line. Will buy again. Wish there was more product for the price – or less price for the product 😉 therefore I prefer the lotion for large areas (legs, body) – however this is a nice 3rd texture option for this line- great product.
