Blood pressure is a sensitive subject, and an extreme reading can be alarming.This thing gave me readings that were WAY high, like 30 points high.I was concerned so i made an appt to have my BP checked by a nurse in a hospital, and i brought this device with me to compare.See i was worried, i thought my BP was dangerously high. I had previously gotten very high readings from doctors which is why i got this thing. My doctor put me on drugs for hypertension so i got these thing to track it and detect if the drugs were working, or if i needed urgent medical attention.Spoiler: I didn’t. My BP was dramatically lower than the reading from this device.Conclusion: Be careful buying devices like this. You can pay more, but i don’t know that that’s a guarantee of accuracy. Do some general research, and take it to a known accurate BP checker like a doctor to confirm it if you get one.Otherwise it was easy to use and seemed robust, and it was fast and compact. It just completely failed at its most important function.

Initially, it worked well for occasional checks, but as of July 1, 2024, it no longer functions. It now displays an error message and fails to inflate to take a BP reading.If you need to check your blood pressure frequently, this might not be the best choice. Buying cheap often leads to poor results and the need to replace the device sooner than expected. It’s wiser to invest in a more reliable product from the start.I’ll be heading to a major department store like Walmart or Target to purchase a new one and will make sure to keep the receipt for potential returns or exchanges.Good luck, Amazon shoppers!
