I just did the grocery shopping so it’s too soon to tell. One review ‘didn’t like it because the seeds went all over’. I had to laugh. You’re not supposed to open the pack and I didn’t need instructions to know that.
There is a complete description inside the pack. It tells you everything you need to know about fruits/veggies, how they should be stored, the purpose of using, and so on.
What it doesn’t say in the on-line description – Bluapple also has other products that should be used in conjunction with the apple such as Produce bags and FreshMats to line the drawer.
An added note – this will slow down the ripening process. It’s not a cure-all. It will extend the life of your fruits/veggies by a few days, not a week or two.

It’s not exactly the miracle they advertise, unless you store your fruits and veggies in the exact same conditions as they do. The two apples come with 3-month packs so they’re ready to use and you get a small pamphlet with tips on how to store your fruits and veggies better. I know it works because my veggies don’t get wilted and mushy as fast as they usually do. We’re only two and we buy a lot of veggies but it happens that by the time we get to the last recipe of the week to prepare the veggies had become mushy. Note that a lot of fruits and veggies spend days in trucks and on shelves so by the time you bring them home they’re not at their freshest. When I buy cilantro it becomes mushy in two days. With those apples they spent a whole week in the drawer and they were still good, with just a few stalks in the middle that became mushy. My lettuce stayed crisp for twice as long as usual. Same for the celery, which usually turns limp in less than three days. I can already see a big improvement because I don’t have to throw out as many veggies as before, which is great for my wallet and great for the environment. I highly recommend!
