Good beach tent, excellent customer service
We love how lightweight this tent is to travel with after using the traditional pop-up tents for years. Easy set up. Keys to success- Take a beach shovel to fully fill the sand pouches and then stretch the tent as much as possibleand youâre good to go! After a couple uses, one of the poles was stuck and would not break down. I reached out to the company and even though it had been almost 2 years since purchased, they sent me 2 upgraded replacement poles for free!! Outstanding customer service! Give this tent a try!

Game changer for sun sensitive wife!
I bought this for a trip we were taking to the Gulf Coast. My wife isn’t a sun worshiper like me, and has to be careful about sun exposure.The setup was as simple as the video demos made it look – took about 10 minutes to set up or take down. The “sandbags” built into the cover are genius – they really anchor it, even in pretty brisk wind. Also, everything also actually fits back in the bag when you’re done!Speaking of which, there were a couple of days with sustained Gulf winds of 10+ mph with gusts that I’m sure hit 20 mph. We were concerned how it would hold up, but it did great – stretched & flapped a little due to the stretchy material, but that seems to be a feature to keep it from blowing away.After the first couple of days my wife declared it a “game changer” as she was able to stay out on the beach in comfortable shade no matter how long I wanted to stay out.(nb, don’t forget to bring a bucket to scoop the sand with for the anchors – we used one from a Dollar Store kid’s beach toy set)Bottom line: great product that performs as hoped for a good price.

Good product, great customer service
I bought the 10×10, four pole tent for a beach trip. The tent was extremely light to carry to the beach, simple to set up and easy to take down. One person can put it up and down – we did and it was not an issue.NOTE – you should buy a scoop to make it easier. It does not come with one. The scoop I got was 82 oz. on Amazon. Yes, you will need multiple scoops of sand in each pocket and the extra $5 you spend will absolutely be worth it.One of the poles was damaged, but we made it work with three poles. I sent an email that week to the vendor asking for a replacement pole. The next day was incredibly windy and a different pole bent. We still used the tent with two poles. Since it was so windy, the tent actually worked better that way and we didn’t have any other issues. If it’s as windy as the video I added, only use two poles.The 10×10 comfortably fit five to six adult chairs in total shade. If you were ok with tighter quarters you could fit more and especially if they were kids. If you want to lay out I would say three to four.The vendor got back to me quickly and ended up sending a whole new set. This was a nice surprise since I had only asked for two replacement poles.Even with the pole issues this was a much better alternative than the traditional heavy metal expanding tent. We had multiple people ask us what it was and where we got it. One improvement would be spikes for use in grass as well. Not sure how well these poles would do on ground vs sand.

Easy to assemble, crappy product
Don’t waste your time. It was an absolute NIGHTMARE to put in the sand at the beach. The poles leaned and didn’t want to hold up, even though the sandbags were filled to the brim. Maybe it’s just Destin sand, but even though I scooped and scooped and tried to bury it deep enough, it wouldn’t stay up. It took me 45 minutes with 3 small children to put this sucker up. I was so overstimulated and overwhelmed that I cried for a long while after getting it up. Once it was up, it was alright. It’s small, so you can’t stand underneath it. And there was no way 8 people were fitting underneath it. I’m out of the return window, or I’d return it. I’ll have to use it again because I’m allergic to the sun, but I will be throwing it away as soon as our trip finishes. And I’m NOT looking forward to setting it up again… at all.TLDR: just get something else. Not worth it.

Easy to assemble will not do well with moderate wind
No matter what you do this will not stay up on a moderately windy beach day. Otherwise it’s great. Easy to put up and down and ample, but filtered, shade. Space for at least 4 people comfortably

This was well worth the money. It was a little confusing to put it up but remember to fill all legs with as much sand as. And then stretch it out, next pop in the sticks 2 or 4. This was exactly what we needed at the beach. It is sturdy, and light weight

So day one at the beach, we got there late in the day on a weekend so it was packed. We found a small space to park and set upâ¦we tried to set up our newly purchased tent and it was a HUGE FAIL! We even thought about returning it. We didnât have anything to dig sand with (it was packed in due to rain and driving on it). It was windy, it fell apart and just didnât work. BUTâ¦.we went back to the beach on a weekday and found a spot with plenty of room. We bought $1 small shovels at the dollar store, stretched out the tent, pinned down each corner, dug holes where the corner pockets were to be filled with sand, filled them in, put the polls up and secured them with the ties and viola it WORKED! The tent stayed up in windy conditions and provided cover from the sun and expected. Tip: make sure you dig holes to set the polesâ¦then pack sand in once they are inâ¦makes it super sturdy.You just need enough room to expand the tent. You would think for the price they would throw in two $1 shovelsâ¦but we were okay with buying them. Itâs super light and it comes in a tiny bag! Great productâ¦now we are back home and Iâll be washing it. Iâll update my review if it doesnât wash wellâ¦but for nowâ¦super proud of our little beach tent 🙂
