A Lifesaver When You Can’t Walk
Let me tell you – when I got hit with a nasty gout flare-up that left me barely able to walk, this shoe was an absolute lifesaver. I’m so glad I found it and want to share my experience in case you’re dealing with something similar. The best thing about this shoe is how easy it is to get on when your foot is killing you. You know how awful it is trying to jam a swollen foot into a regular shoe? Well, this one opens up completely so you can literally just place your foot straight down into it. No squeezing, no painful pulling – just gentle contact. Then you can adjust the Velcro straps to get the perfect fit for however swollen your foot happens to be that day. What really impressed me:- The bottom is super sturdy (won’t bend at all) but still somehow manages to be soft against your foot- Your whole foot sits inside, so if you accidentally bump into something, you’ve got decent protection- It’s surprisingly lightweight – I can even sleep with it (I just keep that foot outside the covers and wear a sock with it)- While it’s obviously a medical shoe, it doesn’t look completely awful when worn with a black shoe on the other footA couple things to know:- Don’t expect any waterproofing – it’s definitely not meant for rain or the shower- On the plus side, though, your foot can actually breathe in it pretty wellI’ve been wearing this out and about during my recovery, and it’s been exactly what I needed. If you’re dealing with foot pain, swelling, or post-surgery recovery and need something that won’t make you want to cry every time you put it on, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try. It’s been a game-changer for me.

Does the job
I broke big toe and was provided with a pneumatic open toe boot, that weighs as much as a ski boot. I was very pleased to find this alternative. It is durable and provides the firm support required to keep the toe straight. It is much lighter and therefore more comfortable. I also like that it was much more even in height to my regular shoes. I did not have to use the even up shoe on the good foot. The straps are supportive enough that one can walk and not feel like they will come unloose. Definitely recommend trying it and if it doesn’t work for you return it. However, I was very please with the purchase.

If you have a broken or fractured toe, you need this shoe
I recently fractured by big toe on my right foot. Talk about painful. I’ve had broken/fractured toes in the past, but never on my Big toe. I quickly learned how important your Big toe is; it literally is vital to maintain normal walking. I tried home remedies, i.e. taping my big toe to the next toe, but walking was still very painful. I knew if I went to a doctor they’d likely put me in one of those clunky boots, which do help but make walking awkward. And I have a dog to walk several times per day. So I looked for solutions on Amazon and found this. It had good reviews and the way it works made sense to me. Long story short, I received it this morning and immediately put it on my foot (note: figuring out the ankle straps took some time, but I finally got it right). The minute I stood up and put my weight on it I was amazed at the lack of pain. It truly works as advertised. While I’m not 100% pain free, the improvement is significant. I can pretty much walk normally without pain. I highly recommend you buy this if you have a fractured or broken toe.

size 10 women order large-better to be a little long
I bought this medical walking shoe as a transition from a walking boot to my own shoes after fracturing my the fifth metatarsal of my right foot. I used this medical shoe instead of the boot as I was weaning from medical footwear to my own shoes. It provided support and protection to the bottom of my foot to drive and walk with confidence outside. The top is soft, so do not expect the same overall foot support of a regular shoe. This is like wearing a slipper with a firm rocker bottom. The heel has some firmness to it, but not as much as a regular shoe. I found that if I fastened the foot straps then tried to slip this shoe on like a regular shoe, the heel collapsed on itself. Leave the foot strap unfastened, slip your foot in, then fasten foot and ankle straps. I recommend walking inside to get the feel of the foot before walking on uneven surfaces outside. I used a cane to walk with this shoe until I got used to the feel of it.I wear a size 10 women’s shoe which is the large in this shoe according to the size chart. After reading the complaints regarding the extra length and bulk in the size large from another reviewer who wears a size 10, I ordered both the medium and the large. The medium was just barely big enough. My toes were at the end, which was ok for comfort, but if I hit anything with the front of the shoe, my toe could have been injured.I preferred the size large for my size 10 womens foot for several reasons:1. Yes, the shoe seemed long and little wide for my foot, but this extra room over the medium gave my foot protection if I bumped it. The extra length did not interfere with my ability to drive. This shoe does feel different to drive, so practice in a light traffic area at first before going into heavy traffic or on a highway.2. The shoe top was a little wide, so I overlapped the flaps going over the top of my foot (see image). Instead of feeling bulky, it felt like it cushioned my foot more.3. The large was slightly taller than the medium. This extra height in the ankle allowed me to snug the strap tighter which made the shoe feel more secure on my foot with less heel slipping when walking.Don’t cut the ankle strap!! I used the suggestion from another reviewer on how to adjust the strap to fit snugly without cutting it. Here is how to shorten the strap without cutting it. Notice that one side of the strap is smooth and the other side is fuzzy. One end is double sided velcro loop squares and the other end is single side loop square. Thread the double side strap end through one strap loop so that the fuzzy side faces away from the shoe. Fold the fuzzy side over on itself, bringing the single loop end to stick to the opposite end of the fuzzy side next to the double sided loop square. Leaving the ends stuck together with the double side loop squares exposed, thread the Velcro loop end of the folded strap (ends stuck together) through the loop on the shoe tongue and then through the other strap loop. Reference the picture of the unfastened shoe. Place the shoe on your foot, then pull the folded strap across your foot snuggly to fasten. By leaving the strap intact as purchased, you can then adjust the strap length as needed by moving the single loop end along the fuzzy strap side to your desired length.

Very impressed about product but unfortunately I got wrong foot one shall I place order for both the foot how shall I place an order –
The mentioning of the foot size and right foot or left foot before billing
