Best Razor I have ever used! BUY IT NOW!
I have been a blade shaver for many years. I have tried electric razors a few times in the past but have never had success with them. I always purchased inexpensive electric razors and got what I paid for. This razor is expensive, but is well worth the price. Cleaning is a breeze and daily shaving probably takes three or four minutes. It does a wonderful job and I have never had a nick from it. It is a close shave! Highly recommend this razor, I only wish It was available 25 years ago and I had been smart enough to buy it then!

This was a gift for my husband and he loves the operation of the shaver. The cleaning system has a bit of a learning curve (we had to check out Youtube videos) and the instructions enclosed are not very clear. Overall still pleased with the purchase and would recommend.

Truly the best!
I’ve been using electric shavers for years, and I prefer foil shavers. I use Panasonic for years, they’re fantastic shavers but they’re cleaner bases never last more than 6 months. A good friend encouraged me to try the Braun, and so I bought this unit. Unbelievable! Smooth, comfortable, feels great on my face and my head, and the cleaner base is amazing!

This shaver is the best I have ever used. It is very quiet and gives me a gresat, close shave.. My old Braun shaver was good, but this is much better. Well worth the money.

Pretty good shaver, but…
So far the shaver is pretty good, and it is good that you can clean it manually. However the two manuals.. All first grade picture book style without any captions or instructions are the worst manuals I have ever seen in my life. Unbelievable that a near $400 item does not have a simple instruction book.

Better than expected
I have always used a blade razor; this is the first electric since I stopped using them in 1968. Getting older and not wanting to spend as much time I decided to try this Braun that was rated high by consumer reports. It has lived up to its rating. just as smooth as the blade, (unbelievable) and faster. Easier when traveling, ( a big plus), and easy to clean. Did start using Electric shave solution, which made it glide much easier. I’d buy again if needed.

I started shaving regularly when I bought this machine because it makes shaving really quick, with FEWER cuts.It’s better than a cheaper foil shaver I have, but not better than a wet shave for my lean face and neck.I get smooth cheeks and jawline, but stubble remains on creases and my neck.This shaver is decent for everyday use, but I’ll have to wet-shave for those smooth face events.

I replaced my rotary shaver with some trepidation after 40 years, but have found this provides a closer shave, and more thorough. I travel less than I did formerly but the recharging travel case allows several weeks use if the cord is left behind, and the alcohol based cleaning system appears to do a much better job than the previous aqueous one, and is more likley to sterilise the foils and heads.

Had a Series 7 which broke after a few years so just comparing with that.Shave appears to be better.Much quieter.Preferred battery life and cleanliness indicators on Series 7.Beard trimmer awkward on rear- whereas on front on the 7Quieter charger.
