Spectacular!
Service was great, it got to me really quickly. Just a couple of days. Softness is unsurpassed. I mean I pet the darn thing! Not really, but you get the idea. It is really, truly as soft as a new born baby’s skin. The color is gorgeous! Repeat, gorgeous. Multidimensional is not an exaggeration. If I had a jacket from this fabric! Hey, that’s an idea.Two things that came up when I was deciding to buy was 1.) that the size runs small and 2) that it was heavy. I don’t know what kind of mattress those individuals had, but my queen mattress is 16 inches and I ordered the large just to be safe. Now, I will have plenty of fabric for more pillow cases or what not, perhaps a jacket? It hangs over so far, that it touches the floor! If you order from Brielle, I’d say the size runs TRUE. About the weight, it’s velvet. Nice thick, soft velvet at that. Of course it’s heavy. That is where I come to my only problem and why it got 4 instead of 5 stars. I would have given it a 4 1/2 at least if that was possible. My problem is that there is little to no batting in the quilt. While the fabric is thick and heavy, the quilt is not really very thick. More like a heavy bedspread. I had to add a blanket for warmth. Something I would not have thought I would need. Otherwise, I could not be happier. I will enjoy this quilt for many years to come. Very, very well made. Worth every single penny!

First of all, let me just say this thing is gorgeous. The sea foam green really changes colors well with different light, and the velvet really gives it an amazing aesthetic, almost ocean-like. It fluctuates between green and bluish silver.Secondly, it’s soooo comfy. It’s amazingly comfy. I don’t like thick, fluffy blankets. This thing is thin, but it’s got a nice weight to it. Weighs a lot more than I expected. Comparable to a gravity blanket. It’ll be great for layering when it gets cold. The cotton inner lining is cool to the touch and the cotton/velvet combo allows for breathability. And the top of the quilt is just so nice to lay on top of. My dog is definitely also a fan, which is extremely important. There are reviews claiming the king size was too small. I have a fairly tall queen size bed and the edges of the king quilt come about 4 or 5 inches off the floor. Unless you need the very well-sewn edges (see pics) to reach the floor on your king size bed, it’s a good size for a king quilt, imo. Great piece of bedding for the price. Looking forward to winter with this bad boy.Edit: it’s now been 8ish months and I’m still madly in love with this quilt. It’s so pretty and it feels better and better with time. It’s breathable…i can feel the air from the Dan move through it and my cotton sheets. It’s held up fantastically in the washer and dryer. No fraying or broken stitches and little to no fading. It’s been worth every penny. If you’re on the fence for some reason, don’t hold back, and thank me later.

I love velvet anythjng, so I was excited to get this for my bed. It looks great, is soft & pretty sturdy! It’s heavier than non-velvet bedspreads (it be expected) but it is not heavy for a “velvet” bedspread. I have used mine everyday since I purchased it & it still looks & feels great even subject to my heavy abuse. It washes great too & eventhough I’m not supposed to dry it in the dry I insist on doing it anyway on low heat. There might be a bit of shrinkage or puckering but truthfully I’m not sure & if there is, I guess I’m not bothered by it. I’m not going to line dry it “period”, so I did risked using the dryer & looks fine to me! Hope you enjoy yours as much!ð

Beautiful quilt set!
This quilt set is just lovely, and the color is so gorgeous – very pretty for a bedroom where I like soft colors, but not too pale. Only thing I didn’t care for were the zippers on the pillow shams. The shams are made well and covered on both sides, but the zipper is very cheap and does not go all the way across the sham. It comes up a bit short and it’s short enough that it is hard to get the pillow in there. Then the zipper itself is cheap quality like I said, and you can EASILY rip the opening. Mine ripped about an inch even though I was going very slow and being very gentle with it. Other than that, I have nothing negative to say about this set. It is an excellent value and I would purchase again in a heartbeat.

I’ve had this for nearly a year and it still looks new, despite being a three-dog household. We don’t have any snags even with dogs trying to turn it into a nest. It’s very soft, velvety smooth, light and warm. I’d recommend it.

LOVE it, but a few issues
I first ordered the king size pillow covers and fell in love with this material. It is beautiful and super soft! So then I ordered this set and, while the material was still absolutely wonderful, this did have some issues. First of all the pillow cases are zippered but completely sewn shut. So I had to rip the seam a little in order to be able to unzip them and put the pillows in. So now they have a little tear in the back at the end of the zipper. Both pillow cases were like this. Secondly, and this is just more of a personal preference thing, the pillowcases have a tag with the brand in them that is large and kinda in a bad location so you can see them when the bed is made. Not super cute imo. Finally, the finishing around the edge of the quilt is beginning to loosen at the end, it doesnât lay flat against the quilt. This was a little more than I usually spend on a quilt, so I was a bit bummed about these issues, but I really love the overall look and feel of the item so I am going to keep it. Maybe I will see if I can sew up the issuesâ¦

This is an awesome bedding set ! I had tried a few others but they just weren’t right . This is made of a beautiful soft velvet feel fabric . I’ll update again when I have washed it but don’t for see any problems.I’m also waiting for the euro cushions to come back in stock to complete the look!Update, I ordered the queen shams to complete the look instead as I had firm queen cushions. So very happy with all the pieces! Now do I bite the bullet & order the drapes ??!!Update ! I have now washed & dried the set. I’m lucky to have machines that will take large loads as these are king size !! They look great, even better that when I received them. It took awhile for them to dry, due to the weight & size but I’m really happy with this set. We live in Canada so the nights can be quite cold, never mind chilly & this was a good weight & coziness ! The euro cushions also look good as support cushion for our backs if reading at night. :)) !!
