I used to use the same mousse for a decade but hated the feeling of too much product so it was a hit or miss some days. I would try out hair milks but then they would be weighing my hair down. Curl cream would be too heavy and the gunky hair feeling was just not it.Mouse works best for me but it’s tricky to find one that won’t feel gross and who has the money/time to try all of them?I recently decided to purchase this on a whim since I ran out of my old things & I LOVE this stuff!It smells so nice, like lemon cake and it doesn’t leave my fine wavy/curly hair crunchy. It gives me some additional volume all over, since my hair is longer and tends fo flatten at the top from the weight.My hair feels moisturized and it smells so good, all without that dreaded sticky crunch that others can giveEven if you can feel a cast while your hair is drying, scrunch it out when its set and the crunch is gone. It doesn’t seem to let any stickiness behind, only moisturized and volumized curls. This stuff will now be my go to!!

Great mousse
I’ve been using this mousse for two weeks, and I really like it. It has a great texture and provides good hold. I have fine curly hair, and it doesn’t weigh it down while adding lots of volume. With other mousses I’ve tried, the cap often breaks, but I haven’t had that issue with this one. The scent is also amazingâit smells like lemon cake!

LOVE HOW LIGHTWEIGHT
Iâve used previous mousses back when I was in high school about 10-12 years ago and I always hated how crunchy and hard and stiff they made my curly hair. Lately my hair is thinner than itâs ever been because hard water has been wreaking havoc on it before I understood what was going on. I have low porosity 2c-3a curls and my hair is fine but has volume. Since I discovered that my new home has hard water Iâve gotten a hard water, showerhead filter, Malibu, hard water, shampoo, and conditioner, and Iâve been using hair growth oil and head massages to regrow. Since Iâm taking a hiatus from heat tools and curling ones, I really really need to learn how to embrace my natural curls while it heals from the hard water damage, I wanted a moose that would help bring back my curl pattern because itâs stronger than a leave in. Let me tell you this product is amazing if used correctly. I think about a quarter size and rub my palms and then scrunch on the tips of my curls, When it dries out completely, not crunchy at all!!! It has a delish lemony scent and Iâm floored this is a moose. I have never had good luck with hair mousse, but I donât think Iâll ever use a different type now! As you can see my curl pattern came back for the most part, but Iâm working on getting her all the way up to the roots and thicker!

Expired but smells amazing
Ideally the personal care products I purchase would all be *new* products, instead of what I received. However, this mousse smells incredible & has a nice texture. My hair looks good so far but we’ll see what it looks like after it’s fully dried. If I repurchase, then I will look elsewhere.

Magic in a tube!
Wow.. Cake beauty is awesome, I have their shampoo and conditioner and itâs the only thing that has made my hair amazing, so when I found out they had more hair products I had to buy! I have 2c hair, strong waves, couple curls, but mostly waves, so use your imagination. Because I have WAVY hair, my hair doesnât maintain heavy products without the results being weighed down or stringy, and gosh Iâve struggled so bad with mousse. Every mousse iâve bought has made my hair crunchy and stringy, even stiff. I stopped using it after a while because I couldnât find the right one, until I found this one. It works amazingly! It fluffs up a lot as soon as you apply it but it dissolves quickly into your hair. As soon as itâs on your hair it dries! It made my hair even better, and encouraged my waves! Itâs super easy to apply and itâs a good size, nothing special! I seriously cannot be more inlove, this is worth every penny! Donât mention it because I canât handle buying anything more expensive ð« Love it! Buy!

Smells great, Though came broken
I opened my package because I heard that something in the package was loose and when I looked the nozzle of the curl-whip was broken and I had to find a way to glue it back into place. Didnât come capped which was probably the reason it was broken.Itâs easy to use like any other moose from a hair store. It looks just like the pictures and great quality. The only downside was that it just came broken and was not capped in the package.In the picture is circled where it was broken and had to be glued back otherwise the nozzle just keeps falling off the product.

A friend of mine gave me a left over bottle she had because she said she didn’t like the way it made her hair crunchy, but since then this is the only mouse I will buy. It has an amazing, delicious scent and yes it leaves my hair crunchy, but I don’t mind that because my hair was so frizzy and looked horrible! Now people tell me my hair looks good! It has a really light, fluffy texture like I have never seen in a mouse before. I just squirt some into my palm and lightly spread around with my other hand and grab my hair in clumps and squeeze to get it into my hair when it is dry or even a tad damp. Leaves my hair looking healthy, smelling great and controlled all day and into the evening. Good price too. I just ditched the almost full can of mouse I had from another brand and switched to this,
