Enjoying the Desert ðµ –
EXCELLENT CALMING TREAT! REALLY WORKS!
We’ve tried many different things to help my 15 year old, 6 lb. toy poodle Rusty, with his nighttime anxiety. His eyesight is not very good, neither is his hearing. He can’t settle down, will pace the floor, acting tense and very nervous. The vet diagnosed him with “Sundowners” or “Doggie Dementia”. We tried a couple different prescriptions for him. Nothing helped, some actually made him worse. Stopped these immediately! I’ve read about so many different kinds of anxiety products for dogs. Tried a couple. None seemed to work at all, or I had to give him one every day for several weeks before you saw any kind of relief. I just didn’t want to keep giving him all this so I just stopped trying. A few weeks ago I started looking again because I felt there had to be something out there that would help! I found VitaPetLife Calming Treat Bacon & Liver flavor. My Rusty loves the flavor and WANTS to eat it! He is super picky! I have to chop it up a bit for him, (he doesn’t have a lot of teeth left) which is very easy to do. Just one in the evening after his dinner and in about 45 minutes he is relaxed and calm for the rest of the night. He absolutely sleeps better too. Our little guy is more like himself again. He isn’t knocked out or groggy, just relaxed and can cuddle with us again. He even wants to play a little!! With all natural organic ingredients, I feel its safe. I can’t say enough about it! We are very pleased to say the least! Give it a try!

They work.
My dog’s refused to eat these. After force swallowing with the dogs. The tablets do work well 2 tablets for my 65lbs he was calm the whole thunderstorm. Then the next 3 days are spent every 2 hours taking him out for diarrhea. It’s caused 2of the 3 dogs diarrhea.

Works for My Girl!
I have given this product to my girl for almost two years, and it seems to work well for her. She is a little bit anxious and hyper, and this supplement does the trick in making her less anxious. I cannot really tell you about the flavor, but my dog definitely takes it and eats it so it must be good!

3 dogs review…… its a yes
I have 3 dogs, one giant German Shepherd who has to take prescription anti-anxiety medication, a roudy big floof of a Malamute puppy who is 4 months old, and my baby old timer chowmix of 9 who has severe separation anxiety.It doesn’t help the super high anxiety of the shepherd with hands on and close encounters, but for sure we can take walks now where as before, another dog passing us was high alert and barking. With the calming supplements, we can pass a couple walking their dogs and we might get one good bark. She is still alert and very much aware, but her nervous energy seems to lower so she can enjoy life without over thinking it.The puppy it is hard to tell. He loafs about on occasion but he is a rabid chewer which unfortunately includes our older two dogs ankles and tails. Since we have given him these, I have noticed a significant decrease in scabbing on the other two. He still plays like and idiot.My older dog who has separation anxiety it has definitely helped as well. I dont come home to find her pulling out my clothes from hampers or crying incessantly. She still has anxiety but she is able to relax much more comfortably.All in all, yeah I’d say this does work. If you are looking for total behavioral correction, no. This is a mood stabilizer bassically. But it works. ð

Works if you can disguise the taste
My 10 month old lab does not like the taste of these. I got the soft chews but in my opinion they seem pretty hard. And they r on the bigger side.. maybe smaller than a quarter, heart shaped but a half inch thick. I used scissors to make the pieces a lot smaller. I was able to disguise them in a banana but she caught on and spit the treats out towards the end. Second time I used lunch meat pepperoni. She swallows them whole so it worked but if your dog chews, or is smart.. they will probly spit it out.They did work better than the calming treats I got from the vet. I think because these have melatonin in them. I wonât buy other calming treats unless it has melatonin, just because I think it does help calm nerves instead of just helping them âcopeâ.We wanted something for the holidays and for when she is groomed. Although these smell bad.. we r gonna keep trying to disguise them. Probly wouldnât buy again but we r definitely going to use them since they do work. Sheâs in heat at the moment and these have helped her keep her mind off the diaper. If my dog did like the taste I would highly recommend.

helps my Natty girl
I would first like to say that I have a German Shepherd/Brittany Spaniel/ Lab mix. If you know anything about those dogs itâs that Germans have attachment issues and Brittanyâs have A LOT of energy. My Natty is a whole lot to handle. She is rarely calm and ALWAYS on the go and ready to go! I started looking on Amazon for calming treats, collars, bones, literally anything to calm Natty down. I found these treats and saw really great reviews and thought, âletâs do it.â So I ordered them and they got here quickly and I gave them to her immediately. When I tell you these treats work, they work! Sheâs still my normal Natty but sheâs a whole lot more chill when I need her to be.Since weâve moved, she hasnât slept through the night and tends to wake me up at 3am… I give her two of these in the evening and she now sleeps til 6am! Woooo!If I know itâs about to storm, I give her these treats to help calm her down.I will continue purchasing these and giving them to Natty because they work!!I was not paid to write this review, but I know I did a lot of research before buying these so I hope this helps someone who is debating buying these!
