Great for multiple uses
They were used when our power was out and later for our porch entertaining. Perfect size and sturdy. Theyâre the same candles restaurants use for table lights. Burns a long time-4 hours or more. Can be used as a tabletop fire pit for ambiance but not for keeping warm.

I bought these because I was tired of having to replace batteries in lights over and over again during power outages. Our home has had multiple power outages due to an incompetent and useless power company (DTE, iykyk). I purchased these after our 4th(!) power outage in 5 months. And no sooner either. A couple of weeks after these came in the mail we had yet ANOTHER outage! I pulled these out and lit a few and was met with warm, clean burning candle light. No smell, no smoke. And itâs nice because we can use our small generator for things other than lights. I did have to knock a star off because, like other reviewers have said, the bottles leak. I will say: I purchased an antique oil lamp a while back and decided to cut one open and pour it instead and it works great. I think Iâll get a few more in the future, but in a pinch these are fantastic. What can I say, sometimes modern problems require ancient solutions.

Good candle.
These are great for their intended purpose, I did not read closely enough and found out when they arrived the containers are plastic. Not glass. Not a big deal, I just planned on using them for decorating. I’ve seen a couple people comment on the flame size. You can simply pull the wick out a little further with some pliers to make it bigger. In doing so you’re going to shorten it’s life span though. I will be buying again.

‘Leaked badly during shipment.’Spent probably half an hour or more cleaning them up to store them for the emergencies they were purchased for.Otherwise, so far, so good. I haven’t used them yet. But I do not anticipate additional problems.

Better to have and not need
I haven’t needed to use these yet, but I sure am glad I have them – you just never know when they’ll come in handy!I’m not a “prepper” by any means, but I do like to be prepared for the unexpected where it’s reasonable.I feel like these candles fall into the reasonable category – they are small, so they do not take up much storage space. They were inexpensive and they don’t expire. The efficiency of these candles were also a big selling point for me and makes me feel like they’re a great value.Of course, I buy most things on Amazon based on customer reviews. I wish I had experience with using these candles, but still wanted to share my thought process with anyone on the fence about getting them. My advice would be to just get them so you won’t need to worry about it anymore. Just check it off your list.
