‘THE’ DOG BRUSH – you’ve found it! It’s THAT dog brush for shedding breeds. It’s THAT dog brush for detangling. It’s THAT brush groomers love and recommend. Chris Christensen Big G Slicker Brush is the original doodle brush for deshedding, detangling, and creating a finished look. Fluff, detangle, and style with one professional tool. Available in a coral color and three sizes to fit the requirements of a professional groomer and show exhibitor.
DESHEDDING BRUSH – removes trapped undercoat with less strokes. The extra-long angled pins effectively reach down into the coat removing dead and loose undercoat. The hair remains trapped inside the brush until removed. Perfect for double-coated breeds, especially during the shedding season. Get maximum results, with less work when using the Big G Slicker. It is your workhorse.
DETANGLING BRUSH – this slicker brush is ideal for removing fine knots from long-coated breeds and the tiny mats hidden in tight curly-coated breeds. With 30% more pins than other slickers, the Big G slicker works 30% harder for you. Brushing with this slicker brush is easier, faster and will make your job grooming painless.
POODLE BRUSH – the long, dense pins are perfect for fluffing curly, cottony coats and fluffing and shaping heads, toplines, and legs. Ideal for Poodles, Bichons, Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, and other Doodle breeds.
THOUGHT-OUT DESIGN – every pin is angled for gentle brushing and sits within a flexible cushioned pad allowing the pins to flex softly and glide through the coat. The unique handle design with a non-slip grip reduces hand and arm fatigue and the extreme curved back allows additional control, movement, and direction when brushing. Brushing multiple dogs has never been easier.
HANDMADE IN GERMANY – Chris Christensen Original Big G Slicker Brush is handmade in Germany with unsurpassed quality and workmanship. Each brush is meticulously inspected from the pins to the handle. It will withstand years of use, even with daily grooming, and is backed with a 6-month warranty against manufacturer’s defects.

Wonderful brush
First I want to say that I did receive this with the clear box it comes in broken and two of the pins bent, which is disappointing for an item of this cost⦠Amazon should really send this in a cardboard box and NOT a bag.The brush does work wonderfully! Iâve used it on my standard poodles and did try it on my Tibetan Mastiff as well. Gets the undercoat out so well of that thick fluffy coat and he loves being brushed with it. It fluffs the poodles coat very well and she is much more tolerant of this slicker than the other ones Iâve purchased for $15 at chain pet stores.I would definitely recommend this brush, the price is a bit steep, amazons shipping packaging could be better, but overall I am very happy with this purchase.

WORTH THE MONEY
Never in my life did I think I’d be one of those people spending hundreds of dollars on overpriced frivolities for my dog. But just like you, dear reader, I combed through the reviews on this product to see if it was really worth the exorbitant price tag.IT IS.I have a Border Collie Poodle mix with very fine hair that gets matted easily. I would have to brush him every other day with his old slicker brush and that wouldn’t stop the mats from forming and it definitely would not be able to get them out. So I tried this brush.I don’t know how but this brush gets through all his hair and has even prevented him from getting mats in his normal places. There have been some times I’ve gone 4 days without brushing him and this brush gets through his hair with relative ease. The bristles have not bent or moved through all its use. It’s also made brushing time less stressful and painful for him. I never thought I’d say this, but this brush is almost magical and worth every penny.

Its worth the price
Extremely nice brush. I have a female Airedale. Cant say enough good about it. Detangles and brushes the loose and dead hair off the dog. It is expensive but i feel it is worth it. It is easy to use and my dog is comfortable with it. After brushing, it looked as though i had never brushed her before with the amount of hair that came off of her. I think she will be alot cooler this summer.

Pricey, but worth it.
I have a poodle and an Aussie doodle. Both of these dogs have very different coats. However, this one brush does a great job on getting out tangles and preventing mats without hurting my animals. It makes things easier when they actually do have to go for grooming.

YES. Its worth the expense.
I really hesitated buying this for my standard poodle. Hey, Its a high price to pay for a dog brush, right? I cant afford the fees at the groomers, so I have been doing it myself. The slicker brush is really all that can penetrate my poodles thick hair and control matting. The slicker brush I had was difficult to use and my dog whined a lot, especially when brushing his legs. I spoke to MANY people at the dog park about the Chris Christensen Big G Slicker. Those who had them swore by them, so I took the plunge, knowing I could return it if I was dissatisfied.NOT RETURNING IT!!! I cant quite tell you why, but this brush is absolutely the easiest and best slicker brush I have ever used. I will try to describe why: First, the teeth are generous, long and flexible. They are angled and (the company advertises that) the tips are ground to avoid irritating the dog. The brush is very comfortable and ergonomic to hold. The handle is generous and shaped well. But most importantly of all, it made a huge difference to my dog! He was very tolerant of this brush, way more than any other brush I have used, including the expensive boar’s hair brush I tried. (Dont bother.) Nothing compares to this brush. NOTHING. It not only gets through his fluffy thick hair, it doesnt kill him to use it! He doesnt pull away, whine or act like he’s hurting at all. The brush itself is kinder on MY skin. The teeth are not sharp and do not scrape the skin, even in tender areas. It really got into the hair and easily undid the tangles. It was super easy to clean as well, easier than my shorter slicker brush.OK I’m now a believer in this brush. Is it worth the money? I guess so, seeing as how it turned routine grooming into a pleasant experience for me and the dog. I compared it to my old slicker brush and it’s clearly very different. So my advice is this: If your dog seems sensitive to brushing, if your hand hurts while brushing, if you find it difficult to clean a standard slicker, if you want a really high quality brush that (I presume) will last a very long time, this brush is the best quality and best performing one out there.

This is a great brush! Butâ¦.
Donât get me wrong. This is a great brush. It dangles and helps with shedding very very well for people who have dogs with long coats and thick undercoats. It will help detangle and loosen hair. BUT It will not remove all of the undercoat as advertise. After using this brush, it really helped loosen the undercoat of my German Shepherd so when I went in with an undercoat rake, it removed more hair much easier. If I had just used the slicker brush, I would still have a lot of undercoat left. I think this brush paired with other grooming tools works very well, but it is definitely not a singular tool to remove undercoat or groom your dog. I gave this four out of five stars because like I said, the brush does a very good job on its own, but not enough to absolutely Get the job done. This is my honest review. Hope it helps!

Worth the price
A friend who works as a groomer recommended this to me. Took me a year to buy it because of the price. I figured it’s just a slicker brush how can one be any better than the next. Finally after buying two cheap ones one after the other I gave in and decided to try this one.Boy was I wrong. This brush is so amazing. It goes through knots like a dream one if my maltese hates to be brushed by me. So I’ve had to get her groom but the prices for that are closer to 100 than 50 dollars. So boy was I excited when my little girl didn’t cry or budge when I brushed her. That alone is worth every penny!!It is comfortable on my hand .

Best Brush
Pricey brush that is totally worth it. I just got a St. Bernard Poodle cross & this did the trick. It also did a reasonable job on my Pyrenees. Amazing brush!

I had no idea the difference a good brush can make. I have a 5-month-old Goldendoodle… lots of thick puppy hair. I was watching a couple videos on grooming Doodles and one did a brush comparison. This brush stood out as an excellent and number one choice. Well, I can definitely attest that they were correct. I was very surprised what a difference the longer brush teeth (?) make. Well worth the additional cost compared to my old model. Let’s face it… you will be brushing for many, many years (10+ years), might as well have the best tools to make the job easier and will last.

Other brushes absolutely cannot compare for brushing out poodles, I promise you this brush is absolutely worth every penny for how fast and easy and gently it brushes my dogs dense fur. The bristles are not anywhere near as sharp or poky as cheaper brushes, and the bristles are longer and angled perfectly to bust up the fur clumps that form in the undercoat. Never in a million years would I have thought Iâd be spending this much on a dog brush but I was promised it was worth it and it is!
