The Chuckit! Dog Tennis Ball Dog Toy is the perfect playtime accessory for your furry friend. Unlike your average tennis ball, this toy is designed with an extra-thick natural rubber core that’s covered with non-abrasive felt, making it gentler on your dog’s mouth. Its bright orange and blue colors make it easy to spot, while its size small fits all small Chuckit launchers, allowing for the perfect fetch experience.
This dog ball’s rubber core bouyance makes it perfect for water fetch, and it’s extra bouncy on dry land, encouraging your dog to jump and play. Customers say
Customers like the quality and color of the pet toy. They mention it’s a good ball, great for playing fetch, and easy for dogs to find in grass. However, some customers have reported that the balls fall apart fairly quickly and are less tough than a real tennis ball. They also dislike its chewability and safety. Opinions differ on the size, value for money, and bounce.

Disappointed
Very disappointed. We have a German Shepard and he destroys toys. We saw this and saw that it might be different. Nope. Destroyed it in a couple of hours. Oh well wasted money.

Great value but …
I love this brand, I love these balls, except now they are breaking quite quickly. The value is so good that I just buy a couple of week. My pug barely has any teeth but she tears us apart like a maniac. Your dog will love it.

This ball seems to be a counterfeit.
This ball seems to be a counterfeit and if it is not, it was made not to be played with by animal or human. In a review I just read, Iduna had posted this:Iduna1.0 out of 5 stars Only for the most docile of playReviewed in the United States on March 6, 2024Size: Large – Pack of 2Verified PurchaseI thought it was great that these came in all sizes and bought the large for an urban dog park hoping it would not go through the slats of the fence and bought these as sort of a test before I bought the launcher. While the sizing was great unfortunately each one lasted a little more than half an hour. The rubber sphere part is constructed of two halves and I don’t know if there’s any sort of sealant between those two halves or if it’s just held together by the thin tennis ball type cover but some bouncing off of the turf covered concrete and dog play upon retrieval caused the two rubber halves to separate and a few more tosses led it to quit bouncing and sort of squished together when the dogs grabbed it. That caused the thin tennis ball type material to fray and all was lost. This post was more than true without any exaggeration. Our dog fetched it in the house and tore it up within 5 mins. The original Chuckit launcher and ball was our first purchase thinking that these would be great balls to replace the Launcher ball which actually lasted our dog about 3 months of constant play and grinding on it (He loved that thing). This one came apart very easily as you can see, but the smell of the broken rubber was extremely solvent smelling (like toluene) of which I have good experience with chemicals like it from the industry in which I worked. Industrial solvents are definitely bad for our pets and that is the smell that comes out of this broken ball even at a distance. It filled our kitchen with the stench. I find this rather suspect when the description says: “this toy is designed with an extra-thick natural rubber core”. In any case, the ball fell apart quickly and it is not like the launcher ball at all. I coach tennis and a real tennis ball would be better for our dog than this thing. Broken tennis balls don’t smell like that at all and they last much longer and cost the same amount for 3 or 4 vs 2.

My dogs favorite tennis ball
Quality builts and sturdy. The material is thick enough to withstand a bit of play from my German shepherd and she loved the orange because it was easy to see

Great thrower, saving my arm
I would give this a five star rating but the ball did not last long (couple of days). If i got the rubber ball, I would give this product a five star rating. I bought a replacement rubber ball from Chuckit and still working after weeks of good dog play.

Not For Powerful Chewers
Through no fault of its own, the Chuck-it Ball is not for powerful chewers. It works well from a ball launcher, but what happens between throws is rather grim for the ball unless immediately taken from the dog. The problem is, tennis balls are just too small to take a chance with in regard to a larger dog, German Shepherd in this case, from swallowing the ball. So the larger ball is the way to go, but with more surface area, it becomes easier for the dog to crush, and in so doing once the ball is punctured, itâs all down hill after that. The ball is then quite easily halved, and is useless for retrieving, and becomes a hazard in regard to swallowing. So, if you have a large dog with a very soft mouth who loves to retrieve, this is the ball for you. If you have a powerful chewer who loves to retrieve, then unfortunately this ball is not quite the answer. Before and after from a one hour session included.

Love these Balls!
I love these Chuckit! Balls and I am pretty sure my German Shepherd does too. Now, if we could get some type of tracking device in them, that would be pretty cool, because my dog looses them in the ocean daily! Now if I just knew where they went, I could recover them out of the sea! Anyway, they are great balls. I now have about 20 sitting in a basket ready for my dog to play with.

Our dogs love these
Being a senior citizen now I fond it harder to throw a ball any distance. The holder works great and give our dogs a workout

I donât have a dog, I got these because they looked the right size to fit in the track of my sliding door, so I can have the door open a little for a cross breeze without inviting in all and sundry. The balls wedge into the track very securely and donât budge even if I yard on the door with my full strength. They are somewhat stiffer than a standard tennis ball, and about the size and colour of one of those big orange âtrainerâ golf balls. The surface has a tennis ball type fuzz to it. For those actually considering this item for its intended use as a dog toy, a large dog might swallow or choke on it, but it looks the ideal size for small to low-medium types of dog. Would also be easier for toddler age kids with small hands to throw. The orange is VERY eye-catching and in a grassy or sand/dirt area would be very easy to spot. Balls are hollow like a tennis ball as well and would float on water for play at the beach or lake.

La photo est trompeuse car ces balles sont présentées comme celles en plastique. Or, elles sont en tissu, résultat elles ont été détruites en 5 mn. ð¤£ð¤£
