The Happy Brush
I inherited a furry feline named Sasha who shedded everywhere. It was awful and making me miserable. But this brush makes me happy. It works, easily deshedding Sasha who loves the attention. It doesn’t hurt her. I brush her every few days and the amount of cat hair on my furniture, my clothes, the floor, the kitchen counter and my mind, is decreasing. This brush is great because during a brush session I can easily clean the brush many times, just by hitting the back button. It pushes the hair up through the pins, flattening the surface for easy removal. Very good brush for a very good cat.

Lasted 6 years! Awesome Brush. I use 2 of these brushes at the same time on my cat.
UPDATE: June 2021:I use this brush daily on my cat. He loves it/demands it. Today, I essentially broke the brush when I tried to clean some fur out of the space in between the 2 plastic plates. I bent some bristles to the point the brush is no longer effective. This is my fault. I am so glad this brush is still for sale on Amazon. I’m buying another one today. It takes a long time for fur to collect between the plates. Don’t worry about that part.UPDATE: It is 3 years and 3 months since I bought this brush. What a great design! The wire bristles stay straight and the push button makes it easy to remove the hair. My 3 short hair cats ‘demand’ I brush them with this brush. They love it. If I start brushing one cat and the other 2 cats hear it, they come running and beg to be brushed. Regarding hair removal from the brush, push the button many times until the cat hair finally gives up and falls into the wastebasket. The button is easy to push.SUGGESTION TO THE MANUFACTURER:Build a case that protects the bristles from getting bent when traveling. My brushes have never travelled but I can see where this could be an issue.UPDATE: One year later. This brush is great! The wire bristles stay straight due to its excellent self cleaning design. I’m buying a third brush today. Not because the other two are worn out but because I want these conveniently placed in multiple rooms of the house. This brush is great! If your cats like a wire brush like my 3 cats do, then buy this brush. When I ask my cats if they want a brushin’ then show them my brush they come running for it! When you push the button on the back it will temporarily hide the bristles making it super easy to remove the hair without damaging the bristles. As a result the bristles stay perfectly straight. I don’t know if using this brush daily will reduce flea issues but my cats have no fleas. Some reviewers complain their cats hate wire brushes. In some cases I wonder if the owners are pressing too hard when they brush their cats. The bonier the cat the lighter you should brush with this thing. Seems like common sense but some people lack it.

Great for snarls and cleans quickly!
We use this on our long haired cat who has thick hair that gets easily matted. She took to this comb right away. So easy to clean with one touch of a button the hair pops off the comb! Effective and comfortable for her.

My Cats Love This Brush
I have tried to many cat brushes for my short and long haired kitties. This one is far and away the best one. , both for the cats and for me. It is gentle, easy to maneuver, and easy to clean. The bristles do not have those rubber tips. My cats do not like the rubber tips so I will keep buying this brush as long as they make them as is.

Very efficient brush but cats don’t seem to like it
This is a good brush, works very well on most of my short-hair cats. I’m not sure if it pulls the cats fur weird or maybe the bristles are a little too stiff for their liking, but they only let me brush them for short periods before they run off. The one thing I hadn’t considered before ordering this brush is the size of the brush. It’s perfectly sized for our “average” size cats (around 15 lb cats) but it’s too big for the cat I bought it for. She’s pretty small for an adult cat, about the size our other cats were at about 4-5 months and weighs about 5 lbs. Obviously this isn’t the brush’s “fault”, I just never thought about brush sizes before.I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the cats aren’t too fond of it. It does a great job of brushing loose fur out though.

Works well for us!
I currently have 5 cats, this is the 2nd time this brush has been putchased, the first one lasted 10+ years. The brush works well for us; It doesn’t scratch my cats skin, and I like that the hair is easy to remove.

works and the cats like it
A wire brush with a spring-loaded base to allow easy cleaning. Press the against the bottom, and the base rises past the bristles, allowing the gathered fur to be easily swept off.The bristles themselves are neither sharp nor hard, despite being metal, and seemed to do a good job grooming my cats’ undercoats, removing loose fur, and leaving their coats feeling silky smooth. Kitties didn’t mind the brush. The one short-hair cat who especially likes being brushed reacted like does to soft brushes– really liked it and kept trying to rub her face on it (I didn’t let her, of course, it being made of wire strands).A good design, and much more innovative than older wire brushes which were hard to clean, had bristles that bent easily, or were so rigid that I wouldn’t use them on an animal as small and thin-skinned as cat. I have Safari’s flea comb (an undercoat tool, also works well). Based on these two products, I’ll be looking for their other products.Recommended.

My senior short hair loves it!
Very easy to remove hair from brush with push down feature. My cat seems to like the bristles versus his old one.

This little brush is awesome. It catches all of my cat’s hair easily, and makes brushing my cats much less of a mess. Prevents hairs from going flying everywhere in the air, because it catches it so well. Disposal of the hair is super easy, you just press the back of the brush and it pushes the bristles back so the hair falls off, which is super convenient. My cat’s shedding has decreased MAJORLY since I started using this.

This is so easy to use and removes excess cat hair very quickly and without much brushing at all. The push in feature which pops the hair off is fantastic.

I have used a few bushes before and this one is my favorite and it’s pretty inexpensive. The size is great for a medium sized cat so you use all pins with every stroke. The pins are not too long which makes it great for short haired cats and cleaning the brush is extremely easy. The handle also looks pretty sturdy and doesn’t slip. Above all, this is the first brush that my cats don’t hate! I would buy it again.

Absolutely love this brush, brilliant for any hair length, we have both short and long haired and this gets right to the undercoat and removes any loose hair, better then any other brush I have bought and it keeps the hair compact until you release it into the bin.Our cats love it, purring away.
