I learned recently that American wheat is coated in a certain pesticide we all know about (to dry it out quickly) AFTER being cut, prior to milling into flour. In an effort to get cleaner pasta for our household, I sought a product not grown or processed here in the states. Who would have thought it would also be delicious? Not a crazy price for “clean”, and cooks up like a dream! I will always buy this pasta for our kitchen!
