Do you believe in miracles!
I was skeptical that this would really do much just because the same treatment was so expensive through my vet and I figured this unit was not powerful enough. My dog lost complete control of his rear legs about 6 weeks ago. We had xrays and several test on his spine but doctors said they could give him steroids but because he is 15 years old and has some heart issues they did not recommend surgery. So I bought him a set of wheels thinking that would help him be mobile. It worked but not convenient so I opted for the red light laser. I have been treating him two 30 minute sessions a day and a few days ago he started to try and walk. He has a ways to go but he was dragging his rear legs as if he had been hit by a car. It was so hard to watch. Now my boys tail is wagging he is loving life and I have never seem him so happy. If you are on the fence about purchasing I suggest you do. Be patient and stay with it. For me this is nothing short of a miracle because I never thought he would walk again.

I bought this for use on my dogs swollen hock. He thought I was doing something sketchy so I used it on myself. My hip and shoulder pain goes away at once. I had coworkers use it also and they were impressed. Well worth the money.

Not sure about the science, but itâs seriously bright
This is a very intense therapeutic red light. In the Amazon listing, it says itâs for pets, but the packaging and instructions I received are labeled for human use. It seems to be identical to other models of cold laser, therapeutic lights out there on the marketâ whether theyâre labeled for pets or peopleThe light itself is extremely brightâlike, laser-bright. Which makes sense, since it has laser diodes in it. It also has red LED lights. Iâve been using this to see if it helps my Achilles tendonitis. And the answer is: Iâm not sure. My Achilles does feel a bit better, but that could just be natural healing, the placebo effect, the weight Iâve recently lost, or the light. In any event, my Achilles feels better than it has in a long time, so Iâll give this light the benefit of the doubt and say it may very well be helping. Iâve been using it for 30 minutes once a day. This is not as much as they recommend, which is 30 minutes twice a day.The reason I am giving this four stars and not five is that the build quality doesnât seem to be as high as it could be at this price point. The plastic feels a little flimsy, and not as robust as I would like. Also, the LED display is very hard to read. All segments of the display appear to be illuminated at the same time, select ones just the tad brighter than others. This makes it very hard to tell what the display reads, unless youâre in a very dark environment. That being said, I think anything else youâd find at this price point will have a similar build.Iâve read some studies on whether this type of therapeutic light can actually help healing. The reports are mixed. One peer-reviewed study does suggest it helps with soft tissue injuries, but may not be effective for things like arthritis. However, given the results with my Achilles, I feel it is something worth trying if youâre dealing with chronic orthopedic pain.I have no way to measure the frequency of light it emits, so I simply have to take it at its word.The bottom line: this product may very well work. I feel comfortable recommending it with the caveat that the science simply isnât proven.

Happy With This!
I love when I order something and it turns out to be even better than I expected. That is the case here. This is a really red light therapy wand. I say that because it’s well made with quality materials, and it’s easy to use. I’ve used red light therapy in myself and my dogand have been really pleased with the results. I recommend researching red light therapy, as many respected journals and institutions have published papers about its effects on pain relief and healing. I expect this to last a long time, and I think it’s definitely a good value for the price. Five stars.

I havenât yet had the opportunity to use this many times, butâ¦.
â¦. the usage I was able to experience was very positive, and seemed to be very helpful to my dog. He was not afraid of it and allowed me to use it on him for just the right amount of time. Iâm hoping to use this regularly in my grooming business that I plan to open soon.

Not too sure this works
I am not sure this stands up to the health claims it makes. I was willing to give it a try as my dog is very ill and I had hoped it would make a difference.It was very easy to use but not sure the cost can be justified if it canât be proven.
