ohhhkay but not great
This is a somewhat unenthusiastic 3.5-star review, but allow me to explain. 1) the thing works, so I can’t be too unhappy, but it’s a weak battery-powered (as opposed to USB-C charged) trimmer and I have the feeling every time I use it that it’s going to conk out. 2) while it does work, it works no better than the ones you would buy at the impulse-buy check-out rack at a CVS or Rite AID, and usually those are a tad cheaper.So, basically, I would love to tell you that this is an amazing trimmer that punches above its weight (or kicks above its price? The metaphor is tortured either way), but it’s really adequate at best and fairly cheaply made. Allow me to surmise my feelings in a different way: I had a much smaller “trimming pen” by a name brand a few years ago that shattered the one time I dropped it on the floor, but while it worked, you could basically shave your head with it, whereas this device has trouble even cleaning up the mustache-lip-area beneath the nose. So I guess if you really just want a portable trimmer to hit your nose and ears while traveling or something, it should do fine, but there really are at least marginally better products for around the same price.

After a couple months, completely dead. Not water resistant at all
After a couple months it started to slow down, replaced the battery but that didn’t really help, then it died.I took it out to the workshop for a post mortem inspection, and found it was completely rusted inside.I never submerged, and really don’t feel like I got it overly wet at all. But any water that got in was trapped and rotted the motor.Disposable junk.

The only one that works
Iâve tried many of these little trimmers and the Conair is the most reliable and effective Iâve used yet. Easy battery change, trimmer guide comb fits securely without restricting speed of the blade, and the small cutter reaches everywhere I need it to. Okay, maybe itâs not razor sharp, but I donât need it to be and itâs always managed to do the job, even if it takes a couple tries sometimes. Will definitely buy this one again if/when this one wears out.
