Great nose trimmer, other trimming head is meh but nice to have
My main nose trimmer is really old and sometimes it painfully gets jammed. Looking around, just about all of the options work the same way, and haven’t changed in 20 years. But the ConairMan trimmer has a unique system that works great and works much more quickly than the others.There is also a metal body version of this product that seems better built and comes with a cap for traveling, but I got this plastic body version on sale for about $16 and it is well worth the price. I was skeptical of the trimmer head, but it is also surprisingly well built – although it doesn’t provide very good performance either as a trimmer or a shaver, probably best kept as an emergency option to your normal shaver. The travel bag is a nice touch to keep all the pieces together. As with most other trimmers, it works off a single AA battery.Cleaning this is not super easy – you need to detach the head and run it under water and look at it to make sure you got it clean. Then you need to let the head dry before re-attaching. But that is no different than any other trimmer.As long as this proves to be durable, I think this is nose hair trimmer is a winner.

Conair nose & ear trimmer
Got this trimmer today 9/23/24 and it’s absolutely great! Worked great on inside of nose and ears,no pulling of hairs at all. Did the job as advertised. Also was not as loud as others have described. This model (PG1000) came with trimmer attachment for sideburns and edges and it also worked perfectly. I replaced a (Micro touch) brand that wasn’t doing a great job. So far so good. I recommend this trimmer. Great value for price!!

I like it okay, I first thought I had a issue but its now working and doing a good job!
The idea of the round end caught my eye. I have used many of the other normal design and all fail with-in a few months and never do that great of job cutting to start with.When product arrived the round attachment worked fine but when I changed out to the 2 sided attachment it would not work. Come to find out I was not using a fresh brand new AA battery and note THIS SHAVER DOES NOT INCLUDE A BATTERY< You will need a AA. When I changed out to a brand new name brand alkaline battery it fired right up and all attachments works as expected.With the battery in mind, I see this same shaver comes in a slight more expensive Lithium version, looks to be the same razor but includes a disposable Lithium battery ( same name brand Lithium AA you can buy at any big box or Amazon ) so based on the fact that even with a new alkaline battery and the fact that when my alkaline battery was not brand new my shave only last a few shaves you may want to just buy a big pack of AA Lithium disposables for this shaver as my experience is Lithium run best and last longer in any high drain device. Or buy the blue version that includes a Lithium battery but even that version is NOT rechargeable and you will need more than the one battery as you use the shaver.I see some reviews mention the shave being loud. It is, its louder with the round tip than the others and I notice when shaving my ears but its not a deal breaker for me, it may be for you but I get a better cut.I think the noise is the price you pay for this unique round design that I think gives a little better closer cut than my other brands..I do like this shave better than all the other options I have tried close to this same price point so I would buy it again.I hope this unit last longer than the other brands I have used over the years; time will tell.The only negative is when I first used it it did catch a nose hair and did not cut but pulled, it made my eyes water and it did hurt. Now that I have the first cut behind me even with that one time painful experience I prefer this razor over other options as it will get in close and does a better than expected and gets closer in the nose that all the other brands I have used.Yes it plastic but has a slight better build and feel than the others and I like all the attachments.Every man over 50 with ear and nose hairs needs one and works good to trim edges of mustache and back of my neck and behind and over my eras between my normal hair cuts.Its a fine value and cuts nice.

Unbelievably Good
I purchased one of these about 3 years ago, mine didn’t come with the trimmer or if it did I’ve never used it. After 3 years of regular use it is still on the original battery! My previous trimmer (which is still in good order) was a Panasonic but it was powered by 2 x AA batteries and it chewed through them at a ridiculous rate. It was also less effective and more inclined to nick the skin.It might look pretty basic, perhaps even crude in the way that the switch works, but it is superbly effective in doing what it was designed to do and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I lost my current one or it was damaged in some way.

Very nice small, simple to use, and convenient trimmer. The trimmer head is a great design unlike many other heads that are large and bulky In my nose and this trimmer Works flawlessly. Nicely designed trimmer IMO.

Wow! Quality higher than what you paid for!
I was surprised. The nose/ear trimmer works better than any trimmer Iâve ever owned. It gets the difficult spots & leaves the ears without bristle stubble. It is a little noisier than other brands but the motor drive impeller that goes into cutting head is brass and not plastic. I got the model with the extra head that trims & shaves. I used shaver on edge of ears. I will update if things change, but now I am very pleased with it & shocked how cheap it was for this quality.

I have been using ear/nose trimmers since my mid-twenties, and for the past 25 years, I have never found one that trimmed the hair closely. This Conair shaver finally gave me the results I have always wanted. The beveled blade system trims all hair so closely and perfectly without pulling the hair and the results are perfect. I must admit that it is a noisy trimmer, so one might be a bit bothered when trimming the ears, but it works very efficiently so you won’t need to put up with the noise for more than a few seconds. This is the best ear/nose trimmer in my opinion.

This trimmer is the real thing. It work amazingly well due to it’s design. If you are used to those dinky , funny looking plastic trimmers which dominate the market and never work , this will be an eye opener for you. It works so well in nose and ears areas that you have to curb your enthusiasm. It comes with attachments for eyebrows, mustaches, site burns and so on which I have not tried yet. I have no doubts that it will perform great. The trimmer I bough has aluminum casing which you pay extra for but it feels like real tool. As to noise generated by it, it is more than ordinary cheap trimmers but not disturbing. I have no doubts this will serve me well for years to come. Treat yourself and you will not regret.
