Saved my sofa⦠UPDATE
UPDATE: I can confirm that the bolsters are filled to capacity with shredded memory foam. I know because I spent 45 minutes cleaning it up and am still finding pieces here and there three days later. I loved this thing for my dog and Iâll probably end up buying another but not until we tackle Chloeâs destruction issues.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am so glad I found this for my dog. I bought a new white sofa (to replace my old white sofa) eight days before finding a black dog outside my work. She wasnât chipped and I couldnât find find her owners so she came home with me. I swore I wouldnât let her on my sofa but six weeks later, she had been on the sofa four or five times and her black hair was accumulating on it quickly.She likes her beds but she wants to be on the sofa with me and I was tired of fighting her to keep her off. I started searching for furniture covers but I really didnât want to cover my whole sofa. Enter this pet bed/furniture protector.It was vacuum sealed and flat when it arrived. The bolster arms almost immediately fluffed up but the back needed some help. I had to massage it to get it to take its shape. The arms also seemed to be filled firmer than the back but after about a week of her using it, itâs pretty firm all around (in a good way). I saw complaints from others that the memory foam is crushed. Iâm not sure why this is a problem, itâs stuffed well and it seems like it will last. The backing is textured to prevent slipping. Iâd say that it stays in place way better than a blanket but it doesnât necessarily stick. Others also complained that the bolster doesnât allow room for their dog. I didnât have this issue but I have a deep sofa.Iâm so glad I found this. My sofa still looks nice although the throw pillows get tossed aside. Itâs the perfect compromise between me and Chloe.

So far the dog likes it
Soft but not too thick. It seems as if it works a bit better facing the couch so that it creates a pocket bed for my pup, but I think later when she gets bigger I may have to reverse it to face away from the couch. So far, the dog likes it. Sheâs on my 4 months old though, so not sure how much longer it will last or when I need to get a bigger one.

Works, just always looks dirty/hairy… I would probably choose a different one. Not easy to clean off hair, and ALWAYS shows every hair. Easy to put in washer, but not gonna do that every minute of every day…Also, you can tell It’s cheaply made. But still works for the purpose I guess.

Giving each dog a spot on the bed
4 dogs and a queen bed = lots linens washing.They are always on my bed, it’s my fault and they are now too old for that to change but keeping things clean while keeping them (and me) happy was becoming increasingly difficult.This was a lucky find as I was looking for ways to make my life a little easier. It has the little bolster which 2 of my dogs love as a head rest. The fabric is also very soft and velvety. It helps keep the sheets clean a few days longer and the best thing about it is how easy it is to throw in the washer and dryer. So far, it’s holding up regular washing with extra hot water and abuse from the dogs doing their scratch and dig dance before bedtime.Now I don’t know how heavy it gets with water and whether you can throw it in a top loader. I have a front loading machine so I don’t have to worry about weight as much.When it comes to dog related items, I get picky, this definitely met my expectations on all levels. I wasn’t able to rate water resistance because we haven’t had any spills and my dogs are fully house-trained. I suppose I could test it… I’ll try to remember next time I am going to wash it.

Great product.
My dogs loved this from the minute I put it on the couch. I followed the advice of others and put it on backwards. The dogs feel secure and comfy and the pillow stays put. One thing I really like about this is that I donât have to clutter my floor with dog beds anymore. Iâve washed it in the washing machine and it didnât lose its shape at all. The only downfall I can see with this is that it takes up quite a bit of space. Highly recommend if youâve got a big couch.

Product isn’t waterproof
Don’t waste your money. The bed isn’t waterproof like it states. Cheaply made. Better off buying a mat to place under a dog bed. This is by far the worst product I’ve purchased

Great cozy spot for my dogs
I have three dogs who are constantly taking our throw pillows and blankets off the couches and out of baskets to make themselves a little ânestâ and/or claiming the armchairs for themselves leaving people visitors left standing. Weâve tried actual dog beds but they inevitably ignore those (heaven knows why) so we tried this out a few weeks ago just on the floor. Since weâve put this down they love having a dedicated soft spot that is still nice and cool (we live in the south east US and it gets MUGGY). Especially nice for my geriatric 16 year old dog who doesnât have the energy to climb into something. Easy to clean and seems to be quite durable! Would definitely recommend!

This pet furniture protector was well packed and arrived on time. Quality is very good to superior. Most of all my cat really likes it and sleeps on it all the time! Well priced.The only drawback is that it was so well packed it was a waste of cardboard and packaging – could have easily come without being packaged in a bag then in another bag and then in a cardboard box.

This is a really good investment. Our Boston Terrier loves it. He was getting in the habit of trying to sleep on a couple of different leather couches. We were concerned with him scratching the leather. This cover is now his “spot” and he only goes to it. As like another reviewer, we turned it around and tucked it into the cushion at the back. It stays in place and he gas a wrap around pillow.

Both my dogs love lounging on it. It just fits my 85lb. Lab, but he enjoys curling up on it. It also creates a designated spot on the couch for dogs, which means the rest of us have a chance of having a spot to sit! A little bit expensive, but worth it so far.
