Imperfectly perfect
They came earlier than anticipated. Even though the engravings and paint isnât perfect, I love it for the fact is itâs more personalized for me. When you take into account that they were done by hand itâs adds that extra love and make this rune set extra special to me.

Lovely stones, sloppy carving & painting, product not as pictured, energetically bad at first
I bought this set of Elder Futhark runes because I wanted unakite rune stones in the flat, rectangular shapes shown in the product posting.Pros:* The unakite stones are lovely.* I’ve never even touched unakite before and was pleased and surprised to find it’s got some strong mojo.* All 24 Elder Futhark runes are present.* If you use blank runes (I don’t, except as a spare in case I lose a rune, which I never have, knock on wood), the set includes a blank rune.Cons:* The stones aren’t flat rectangles as seems to be shown on the product page; instead, they’re pebbles. This makes the runes hard to use.* The carving jobs are messy.* The paint jobs on several runes is sloppy.* It’s hard to distinguish between eihwaz and sowilo–the two stones are nearly identical, so I’ll have to use a permanent marker to mark both stones. (They both look like a deeply angled letter S.)* For those who care about/believe in energy, I had to give the rune set a long, serious deep- clean, energy wise, because the set had some nasty energy on it. And I tend to be laissez faire about that sort of thing–I don’t obsess over cleaning, and only do it when I can feel the runes (or cards) need it, which is seldom because I work in an energetic clean room. But when these runes arrived, I could feel them screaming at me from a distance. It took a week of hanging out with my black tourmaline grid for the stones to calm down.Overall, I don’t regret my purchase and I know I’ll enjoy working with this rune set. Just know what you’re getting into, quality wise.

Pretty White Rocks!
I read a lot of the bad reviews before ordering this set, but I took the risk and I am glad I did. I did get a complete set, including Wyrd – for those of you who DON’T know — THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A BLANK ONE. The blank rune, when drawn, represents fate and the unknown. Did you receive it as an answer to a question? Then either you’re not supposed to know, the answer is unclear, it’s none of your business, or anything at all could happen. And no, they don’t lay flat – the picture is misleading, but they’re /stones/, rocks don’t conveniently come in flat shapes! The little bag they come in is flimsy, but the little bag was tucked down inside a nice little cardboard box.

The runes themselves look fine. But the packers tied a very tight double knot in the drawstring that I for one could not undo, and then they taped down the drawstring to the very cheap bag, which left adhesive on the drawstring and started the bag raveling. So I had to buy another bag. Correction: 20 bags, because you can’t buy just one.

Really nice amethyst runes
Amethyst is a crystal I am drawn to because of its purple color and healing properties. I chose this set not only because it was made of amethyst, but because the image showed they were flat rectangles, which they are. This makes them perfect for rune casting. The rune symbols are etched in gold and look very striking within the stone. They have all 24 symbols plus one blank one. The pouch they came in was a flimsy type of netting type fabric, but I had a softer pouch to put them in.

I love love love theses runes, theyâre absolutely beautiful. I was expecting/mentally preparing myself for them all to be uniform in colour, because I noticed a lot of reviews for opalite runestones from other sellers mentioned this quite a bit, so I was really hoping this wouldnât be the case with these, but they didnât disappoint! Iâm super happy with the beautiful variety of opalite stones I gotâsome are more blueish than others, some more white, and others are more clear, which I absolutely love. The symbols are precisely carved into the stones and have gold painted into the carvings, so you can really see the symbols, plus itâs unlikely that the markings will fade or become less visible with use over time since theyâre so well crafted. The runes are a good size and are all uniform in size and shape without being identical, so thereâs none that stick out from the rest in terms of size, shape, craftsmanship, or quality. These are excellent, quality opalite runestones. Totally exceeded my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
