Fun for kids to learn about rocks!
I did a little scavenger hunt for my son around the house and this was his âprizeâ at the end. He LOVED it! I like how it came with the sheet that shows which types of rocks they are. The little plastic tray is also nice to store them in, even though itâs not super sturdy. They were a little bit hard to open each day but that didnât bother me. Great gift idea for rock loving kids!

My daughter is into stones since her older brother loves them as well. Bought this as well as another “larger stone” advent box and this one was wayyyy better. Great variety, beautifully polished stones, box held up amazing. Highly recommend for kids.

Fun & interesting
My grandchildren ages 7 and 9 really enjoyed this Advent calendar. Did not mind not getting a little piece of chocolate because they enjoyed their new collection of rocks and minerals. What child does not like to pick up a rock? So this was a learning experience also. They will look forward to adding to collection.

Difficult to Open but Very Nice Gems
The advent calendar doors were horrifically difficult to open (I gave up and opened the side and slid the gems out) but the gems were amazing quality and all were there and as described.The best part about this was that there was actual variety when compared to most all other calendars and gemstone packs around. All the others have the same 10-20 gems so finding that this mix of gems was a breath of fresh air. The Charoite is my new favorite gem of all time and the Labradorite is actually very good quality than others I have gotten in other mixes, and has actual Labradorite colors rather than being a black rock that is sort of maybe a little bit Labradory. Also they are No lies about what gems you are getting; What they say you will get is what you get, unlike a lot of other mixes.I am in love! (with the gems not the advent doors). Please make the doors easier to open. The doors are the reason of the 4 stars. If the doors were an acceptable level of opening then this would be the easiest 5 stars.

I’m never buying a candy advent calendar again!!!
I bought this for my kids and was a little late ordering, so we had to catch up and opened the first four doors all at once. My kids are sharing this calendar and they are extremely excited about their next turn to get a stone. There’s no need for a surprise, the anticipation of just being able to get the next one out is making them more excited than they’ve ever been about a little piece of chocolate, or plastic toy. The stones are great quality and I will buy this again next year!

Fun and Different Advent Calendar
My daughter loves crystals so I thought this would be a cool advent calendar. She loves it and I am impressed with it too. I love that it has information about each of them. They are a nice weight – I thought they might be cheap plastic but they arenât. If you like crystals and are looking for something besides candy in an advent calendar, this is the one for you!

No surprises
The box came very small, but was in good condition. To my daughter’s disappointment, these gemstones are all in order. Upon opening the first few days (now on day 5), we started to realize that the top flap where the index card is shows the exact order of the days. No surprises whatsoever. So each day, she knows what she’s going to get. This takes the whole fun out of an advent calendar and she was really bummed about this. The gems/rocks themselves are pretty and decent quality, which is why this isn’t a TOTAL loss. But just beware that there will be no surprises with what you get everyday.
