Variety of Tasty Recipes, But Not Very Thought-Out And Riddled With Typos
There are a lot of food recipes and ideas here, but the book seems to have been rushed to the printer without much forethought. There are countless typos throughout, some of which cause confusion when trying to understand the recipe, some are just annoying. For example, in the list of foods to avoid, which is helpful by itself, there is a bullet point for winter, and a separate bullet point for squash. I can figure that one out on my own, yeah I like to avoid winter, but it is not a food. And there is a recipe that refers to two other recipes, I know it’ll be complicated but looks like it’ll be worth the effort. However, the page numbers are not included there which is a shame. I almost didn’t think to look in the table of contents for them! Seems very complicated. Another recipe that is in the breakfast section, is just telling you how to cook bacon in the oven. It is not a complete meal and should not be categorized here as such! There should be a section dedicated to helpful tips or something where this would fit perfectly, but it is NOT a breakfast recipe. There is some good information about keto in the beginning for those of us who are beginners, and that is VERY helpful. No pictures. A lot of recipes to choose from, so it’s not a complete waste.

    Dumbfounded
I am dumbfounded how this book is being sold on amazon. First, ink is missing or faint on the pages. It looks like it was created in color, but printed in black and white draft font. It looks like it was printed from a homemade printer. On the back, it states: “This book serves as a beginners (no apostrophe) guide to the ketogenic diet…” No, it isn’t a beginner’s guide. It isn’t a guide at all. It doesn’t teach a beginner how to get into ketosis. It has no meal plan(s). It doesn’t tell how many servings, or how much to eat to get into ketosis. It doesn’t give any info on macros, and doesn’t even state net carbs of each recipes. There are no pictures anywhere in the book — none. It’s just a bunch of recipes thrown together. On the very first recipe, it states “1 Recipe Best Fried Chicken Ever” and “1 recipe Waffles” in the INGREDIENTS list. It took me quite awhile to figure out that these are separate recipes in themselves, and I had to go searching through the book and the table of contents to find these 2 separate recipes that are included in the one recipe. So 3 separate recipes for 1 recipe. And there was no reference on the recipe page of where to find the 2 additional recipes. I can’t believe this book is being sold on amazon. Unbelievable. These days, anyone can throw anything onto pages and call it a “book” while calling themselves an “author”. This book is completely useless.

    Missing recipes, repeat recipes
The waffle recipe is missing. The pico de gallo is in there twice. I was hoping for something other than riced cauliflower in every recipe. I’m returning the book.

    Missing Recipes
Not very happy with this cookbook. It’s almost like the author had to whip out a cookbook fast and didn’t feel like messing around with any details or actual recipes. Like the recipe for Hot Chicken and Waffles. Maybe I expect too much, but there is no recipe for the waffles. The whole recipe is toss the chicken in hot sauce and cayenne and arrange chicken on top of the waffles??? drizzle the syrup over top and sprinkle with powdered sweetener and serve immediately. However, in the authors defense, one of the ingredients is “1 recipe Waffles” which is not in the book. Another ingredient is ” 1 recipe Best Fried Chicken Ever” which is actually in the book as it’s own recipe. Most of the recipes are so simple I’m not even sure I would call them “recipes” but rather simply here’s some ingredients you can throw together quickly. And I hope you already have recipes for some of the ingredients….like waffles.

    Cookbook
This was not a great book. I was looking for something to help substitute out foods now that I am going gluten, egg and dairy free. The recipes are mostly smoothies . Of course a person knows how to make a smoothie dairy free! I tried to return it twice and got no wear. This experience will make me scared to buy another book online.

Plagiarized from the dairy-free keto diet cookbook by Jessica Dukes
Can’t believe the “author” did this even the table of contents has recipes that include egg listed that are not actually in this book but are in the original real book

We bought this cookbook because our Grandson is allergic to dairy and eggs. Not sure I’m going to use it. Very little inspiration when not a single recipe has a picture. Not one in the whole damn book! Very disappointed…
