De Cecco gently grinds the heart of each grain, mixes it with cold spring water, then kneads the dough slowly. This results in pasta with the exceptional de Cecco aroma, flavor, and consistency. Pasta easily cooks to perfection, has a great firm texture, and a delicious “fresh” pasta taste. It has a rougher surface, which helps the sauce stick to it. Since 1886 we have liked our pasta to be bronze drawn and slowly dried because we like it to fall into the plate full of taste, rough and always “al dente”. Even though our taste has not changed, as we feel the same love for tradition, we have continued to improve our production technologies. Make de Cecco pasta the secret ingredient for your most amazing dishes.Buon Appetito!

Customers like the taste, quality, and health of the noodles. They mention it’s a nice alternative to boring spaghetti noodles and works well as a substitution for regular spaghetti in other dishes. However, some customers have reported that the box arrived broken.

    Yums!
The only spaghetti we eat. High quality and very tasty.

    Good
The spaghetti noodles are ever-so-slightly thicker than typical spaghetti, and they’re a lighter shade of green than other spinach noodles we’ve tried (which makes me wonder about the actual amount of spinach in them). But they came out very soft with a good taste!

American retailers sell 400 kinds of white noodles. DeCeeco sells stunning variety.
Food retailers never “push” anything – they stock what they feel is already known. So we get white noodles that are all the same. DeCecco has some shelf space but selling into big chains is a frustration. Buying online (case qtys) is the answer – and their goodies are top drawer but NOT top price. Hard to understand – big chains in my area sell 400 kinds of bread – all white but pretending to use variety of wheat, sources, grains, wrapping, etc. They offer maybe 4 varieties of noodle type – nothing really different. 80 kinds of frozen pizza. Where did they go off the track? Well, a couple of cases from DeCecoo and we are set for a year or so. Chain groceries are dismal – three miles of breakfast sloop with sugar and about 1 yard of shelf space for interesting pasta. They might as well sell cocaine.

    Immediate arrival
Family Christmas dinner. Green pasta with red meat sauce. Wonderful. Green pasta is hard to find at local stores.

    The best spinach noodles!
We have tried many brands of spinach noodles, and these are by far the best. Leftover noodles even freeze well and microwave well after freezing.

    Sneak kiddos veggies
Brands seem to be dropping their veggie based spaghetti noodles (barilla, mueller, and even store brands giant,‘Safeway etc). These were greener than what I’ve been feeding the kids so I was a little worried it wouldn’t pass. Even smells a little when cooking. The kids did notice the difference, but wasn’t a big enough shock where they refused to even try. Now they eat it like the other noodles they were use too. I like them as well.

    Poor shipment packaging
We love this spinach pasta! It is hard to find in our area. However, not much effort was taken to ensure it would arrive without noodles broken. The individual boxes were bent, and no padding was used. Just a standard plastic shipping bag.
