The adhesive didnât stick to skin
I purchased these wound dressing pads to protect my surgery area and as soon as I opened the item the adhesive would not stick to my skin. Not sure if this is because of how it was stored or a known issue unfortunately

Dimensions of the bandage and resistance to water.
These were the size and type of bandages to protect a recent surgery incision After the original dressing was removed.They worked well and protected the wound from incidental shower spray which was required. The length of the bandage was critical to cover the entire wound area.

This dressing I ordered from Squishy Dot was received and it looks to be of high quality, of which I have no doubt, however, as I purchased for my husband’s wound management due to delayed normal delivery to our home for his care, I decided to buy this product since it sounded suitable for the purpose.It is stated that the dressing is Highly Absorbent but unfortunately after the nurse had applied them on a few occasions, the absorbency did not achieve the desired effect by drawing the moisture away from his foot and into the padding, it left the wound on his foot damp and did not appear to be absorbed into the pad at all when changed, sadly.Unfortunately I cannot recommend for the purposes of serious wound care that require the padding to draw the fluids into the padding and away from the skin surface to keep it dry.I am sure this item is suitable for many applications, it is of high quality materials and I appreciated that I had been able to buy something to be delivered quickly.This is an expensive product, it is not adhesive but I am sure it is suitable for many uses, just not for our purposes.Love the name Squishy Dot, by BTW.

This product is as good as mepilex but a lot cheaper, it doesn’t peel off once it’s on. I used it to heal a skin tear on my husband’s leg, took it off for showering, and reapplied the same dressing for 6days once it became drier. I now have a smaller dressing on it, as its almost healed.
