I have a puppy that just really could not seem to get a grasp on what he should bark at what he should not bark at. This was a vital tool to helping me train him when to bark and when not to bark, he is now much more friendly to be around

Nice Upgrade Deterrent for Dogs and Training
The Dog Bark Deterrent works very well as described. It has several frequencies that are used to train or deter your dog or animal. The Dog Bark Deterrent is very pocketable and portable for carry. I wish it came with a clip but in this case it did not. The Dog Bark Deterrent also has a built in flashlight that can adjust to strobe and steady shine. The ear piercing deterrent siren gets plenty loud and will be sure to train and stop any dog in their tracks. Overall a high recommendation that is worth the purchase.

I call this “The Confuser”
Our dog barks at everything and everyone that goes past the front of our house, so I wanted something to be use to halt the behavior without hurting her (there was no way I would ever use a shock collar). I was a little concerned about these types of devices at first, but the reviews all indicated that dogs were not reacting as if it was painful, so I figured I would give it a try. I hit the button as soon as she starts barking and she almost immediately stops, turns around, and looks REALLY confused. I guess it breaks her focus long enough that she forgets that she saw something that made her bark. Bottom line is that it works well so I consider it a solid investment.

Doesn’t Work
I ordered this bark deterrent device for my daughter who recently adopted a 6 month old pit puppy who loves to bark. I had high hopes that this would work for him. Iâve cannot get it to work. It wouldnât turn on when we first got it so we tried charging it. Still nothing, it doesnât light up either. Not sure if it was a dud from the beginning or if it was damaged in shipping. I canât recommend this item because it didnât work for me at all. Iâm so disappointed ð¢ð¥²âºï¸

Doesn’t work for my Golden Retriever, she is stubborn
The Dog Bark Deterrent Device is a mixed bag for me. On the positive side, the rechargeable feature is convenient, and the digital display makes it easy to use. The ultrasonic sound seems to have some effect on my dog’s barking, especially when used consistently. However, it doesn’t work as effectively as I had hoped, and my dog sometimes ignores it altogether. Additionally, the range could be better for outdoor use. Overall, itâs a decent tool for training, but I think more persistence is required to see significant results.

This Device can Make a, “Beep” to Alert Dogs to pay attention, and stop the bad behavior. Or, you can use this Sound to create an action that your Dog is Learning. For Night Walks, or anytime, there is a Built-in LED Flashlight.PROS:You will be able to be consistent, in your Training Routine with your Dog. You can also give Deterrent Alerts to other dogs. There are a lot of dogs off of their lease, lately. I think people forget that everyone does not like dogs. Some dog owners have been allowing their dogs to run free, in a busy Urban Area. Too many dogs, not enough Dog Training, or Trainers. So, this is also a Safety Device to Deter other dogs, from running-up to you and your Dog, off leash. It can be scary, fighting off another dog that has approached of leash. The owner, was nowhere to be found. I wish I would have had this Device, to Deter the dog from attacking my Dog, and me.CONS:Make sure you have enough Battery for your Training Session, or Outing with your Pet. This Device cannot help, if you forget it at home, or didn’t charge the Battery.

It worked! It worked!
I was a little skeptical getting this, but I’m pleasantly surprised! My wife has a little dog she brought with her when we got together. This dog, while small, has had a nasty habit of attacking me, drawing blood, and generally making my life miserable many times a day for YEARS. All until last night. I used this a couple times and he has not repeated this behavior since, AND I haven’t even needed to use it again. If this continues, it could be the beginning of a beautiful new friendship! Be aware, the instructions themselves admit that it doesn’t work on every pet, but it sure did on hours, and I couldn’t be more grateful! The flashlight which even adjusts its output based upon the light in the room or space you happen to be in is a nice touch. Very cool for walking the dog. And it reportedly has a very high success rate against outdoor animals as they tend to be more sensitive to sound, so it’s a little nice bit of reassurance to carry with you when you’re out relieving the pup, and you happen to cross something bigger and meaner. Obviously, if you couldn’t tell, this gets five stars from me!

light weight and fits in sweatpants pocket
I was very excited to get this. It is easy to charge, and there is a charge indicator on the device. I have to walk at night because I am very sensitive to heat, and a few weeks ago, 2 large loose dogs ran right at me and scared me half to death. I am hoping this will help repel loose dogs. I can keep it in my pocket, and it also doubles as flashlight.
