Not for big dogs
I had great hopes for this sling. My older boy had been my biggest challenge, as he was not able to develop some important social skills during his previous owner’s fatal illness A combination of “cooperative care” techniques and the sling, actually allowed me to trim his nails without sedation for the first time in years. I was so excited! The carabiner clips that came with the product should never have been included, as they were dangerously weak. Having read previous reviews, I was thankfully, prepared with heavy duty clips that could hold his weight. Our older girl was not thrilled, but I got her nails done in record time without having to lean over and stress my back. Yay! By the time I’d finished with her, though, I noticed that the sling had stretched considerably. My 2 young adult girls, did not appreciate the sling at all. They were both able to thrash about and turn their heads enough to fold them back into the sling. The sling continued to stretch and began to give the last dog a wedgie which finally prompted me to release her. The material is an abrasive mesh that actually rubbed the skin off her girl bits and inner thighs in under 5 minutes. I would not recommend this product even though it helped with 2 of my dogs. The substandard quality and abrasiveness of the fabric lead me to believe that I will only be able to use this safely a couple more times.

I wouldn’t use it to lift them all the way off the ground because it’s not padded well and he seemed to be in discomfort when going too high (probably fine if your dog is under 100lbs) but it works perfectly to keep them from laying on their paws.

Me gusto que las asas son de tela tipo lona y se ven mejores y más resistentes que otras hamacas que tienen sólo los agujeros en la tela. Yo lo uso para inyectar a mi perrito y hasta ahora no he tenido ningún problema. Considero que soporta el peso de mascotas de menos de 8 o 9 kilos.
