I have an ancient foster dog in who is too old to be put under for the dental he needs. So I’ve been using these powders to try to do what I can to keep his mouth in the best shape it can be in. It does help a bit but I’ve got sort of a lost cause so I don’t expect miracles.I like that the powder is white – the green ones make the food look ugly. The dog doesn’t care, but I do. The dog has no problem eating his food with this in it.The price is much less than other powders of this kind. So if you aren’t sure about this, this product may be a good one to try.One thing I do not like is the scoop – it’s not a scoop it’s a shovel. How are you supposed to measure with this? Do you flatten out the amount of powder? Or is it a heaping shovel? I go back and forth which isn’t very scientific for trying to figure out what the dose is. I do like that the scoop fits into the jar though. But a scoop that is more exact would be very helpful.Overall, the product is fine. And if you have a dog with normal teeth, use this before their mouth becomes a wasteland of decay! Keeping the teeth clean is better for them then letting their teeth get bad.

After using this for a couple of weeks, I did notice a change in my dogs breath and their teeth however, one of my dogs does have a sensitive stomach so when I first started this, it just wasnât sitting right with him, but after a few days he seemed to adjust to it and it worked well so just keep that in mind when starting this with your pets that they all have to adjust they might get diarrhea or vomit, but their stomach used to be teeth cleaner.

I have looked at various products that would help improve my dog’s dental care. This product seems to work; however, it is a little challenging to get my dog to eat the powder. I really have to mix it in with her food to disguise it. If it is not mixed well and is just placed in her food bow, she will not eat it. After using this product for several weeks, I have noticed some improvement in the appearance of my dog’s teeth and breath.
