Our original blankets started out at 250gsm, then we upgraded to 300 gsm and now all our colors are 40% thicker than the originals at 350gsm.Waterproof / Windproof. The polyester waterproof backing is internally coated with two coats of polyurethane, making our blanket waterproof in most situations. If liquid is allowed to pool on the non waterproof fleece side for several hours, some moisture may be drawn through the backing.Secret Pocket. The perfect place for your stuff sack, keys and phone.Machine Washable. Wash on a gentle cold cycle and tumble dry on a low heat.Extra Large. I bought this blanket for my two dogs to have a dry, comfy spot to relax when we hang outside in cooler weather, which we do a LOT. Itâs perfect! Just the right size to share , soft flannel with a waterproof backing. Not stiff so it should be easy to machine wash. Excellent quality , especially for the price. Iâm really happy with this purchase.

Used it at a rainy cold soccer game, worked just like it said! I was warm and dry! Wrapped myself up in it, sat on wet bleachers, totally dry!The wettest I got, was carrying it back to the car. Definitely worth the money! Will be using this many more times!

i absolutely love this blanket ,and i put it to the test at a Dirt race car event , the weather was Rainy, freezing cold and dusty! it stopped me from getting wet ,blocked me from the winds, and kepted me warm, the dirt just was able to be shaken off easily. Best investment i have made in my outdoor sports ever and i have had a few over the years.

Best picnic blanket ever
This is an amazing picnic blanket, really the best I’ve ever had. Since I got it in 2019 it has been my trusty companion for picnics, camping trips, fireworks, parades, watching sunsets by a lake, you name it. It works great on cold damp ground to keep me warm and dry, with just enough padding to make the lumpy ground comfortable. It’s a good size for multiple people, and I’ve had picnics with 5 people on it. It’s even made a comfortable sleeping bag pad for impromptu camping under the stars, and was surprisingly warm on a chilly summer night. It washes well, and has maintained it’s waterproofing and durability really well. During the winter, I keep it in my car in case I get stuck snowed in somewhere inconvenient, and during the summer it’s a constant companion for outdoor adventures. It’s surprisingly compact, especially with the stuff sack. I have another blanket that I got at a grocery store a few years ago, and this is lighter, packs significantly smaller, is warmer and better padded. I love the little pocket for keeping track of things while using the blanket too. This thing has been so versatile for dates, family gatherings, and visits with friends. I really can’t recommend it enough.

Great for outdoor sports spectators
This blanket is great!! I wanted something that would keep me warm at my daughter’s outdoor sporting events. I’m always cold so I originally was looking for a cordless electric blanket but many I looked at were pretty pricey. I saw the reviews for this and also the comments people made about it being waterproof and thought I’d check it out. Definitely not disappointed. Over the past two weekends my husband and I have been at 2 all day lacrosse tournaments in elements ranging from extreme wind and cold to downpours. This blanket kept us warm and comfortable through it all. I’m considering buying another to keep in our other car. Haven’t washed it yet but care instructions seem pretty easy. I hardly ever give reviews but just got home from a game were we would have been drenched and miserable had we just had an umbrella. In addition to our umbrella we covered up with this (it’s large enough for 2 adults to comfortably share) and it kept us and our stuff dry. So happy I purchased this.

Nicer than expected
Wow. I am happy. Pretty darn heavy and thick. Just right. Better than what I have found in stores.It’s heavy enough to do the job. It’s not a thin cheap piece of junk. It’s really nice, and I can be picky.It has a built in elastic strap so you can just fold, roll and strap it up if you don’t want to use the caring case. With out trying very hard to make it small, it rolled up and fit back in the case

I love these blankets and already own 2 of the plaid ones and just added a third. They’re well made and the quilting prevents the slip you typically get with this style of waterproof ground blanket. In fact, if you’re new to these kinds of blankets – don’t ever buy one without quilting, it will drive you nuts. These DownUnders are lightweight but feel thick enough to add some fair cushioning and softness. I have a high-end $250 version from a well known brand and two cheaper (unquilted) ones and this feels solidly in the middle and is very fairly priced. I actually reach for these most often because of the lightweight factor. They’re great for picnics, camping and outdoor activities. I also have one dedicated to my 12 yr old golden retriever that loves sitting on the porch or back deck, but the hard surfaces aren’t great on her joints and this keeps her clean and nicely cushioned and dry in all kinds of weather, even when the ground is damp after the rain. These blankets also machine wash incredibly well and dry quickly in the sun for re-use. Excellent brand and quality! Mine still look like new even after heavy use and washing over the years.
