Perfect for small pills!
This is by far the best splitter Iâve ever had! My cat currently is taking 1/2 (now 1/4!) of a really tiny pill for an enlarged heart. At first, my vet split them for me, but Iâm now in rural Michigan and I donât have that option. Iâve tried several splitters which pulverized the pills, then pill cutters which was very hard to cut evenly. Then, I tried this pill splitter and it is wonderful! You can do multiple pills at once, first cleanly in half, and now due to a medication adjustment, quarter pills. There is less than perfect cuts occasionally, but this works great overall!

Cuts exactly, works perfectly.
This cuts my small round pills in perfect halves, and is very easy to use. My hands are not strong and it is still easy to use. It holds the pills in place, cuts them, then you tilt it and the little tray at the end collects the pieces. It seems very durable. I am very happy with this product. I highly recommend it. Plus, the price is great.

Works Great but Not All Pills
I needed this for some smaller pills I’m supposed to take half of (thanks VA) and they were far too little for me to cut. This cutter works great for those. My Metformin pills however are far too large for this cutter but they are scored and I can break them easily with my fingers. If you’re looking for a cutter that works well, this one is a good choice. It has an adjustable pill holder so they don’t move when you do the cut and that’s super helpful. Nice little device.

Good pill cutter (especially for small pills)
Got this pill cutter because it was one of the few that you could adjust the size of the part that hold the pills securely when cutting.I had a very small pill for my cat and a large pill for my dog that I needed to cut in half daily. With the regular cutters the small pill would slide around and crack unevenly, but this holds a line of several pills securely and makes even, sharp cuts, without them breaking apart (very little residual pill powder and no uneven chunks). The larger pills donât split quite as nicely, but it may also be the consistency of the pill. I donât have any other pills as large to test though.For the best results you do have to line up the pill score marks with the blade. For smaller pills, if you want to do several at a time, it can be a little tricky. A pair of tweezers, forceps or even small, narrow (clean) pliers work well though to line them up (easier than getting your fingers in a small space).I took off 1 star off due to the large pills not cutting as evenly as Iâd like. For the small pills Iâd give it 5 stars.

This product is awesome. My prescription calls for half a pill and I could not split these pills evenly or without breaking them because they are pretty small. This gadget allows you to split multiple pills at once and it adjusts for size. In adjusting for size, it aligns the pills perfectly on center.
