Nice thermometer that offers no touch
I ordered this to replace an old one we had that no longer worked. I liked the fact that you just put close to the forehead and hit a button and get a reading. Also, that you could do ear readings. When we first got it and put the batteries in it, it was giving us some whacky readings and error messages. Turns out it was too cold from the elements so we gave it time to get to room temp. Once it did, then it started working right. The readings are very quick and it is nice not having to touch it to anyone. I don’t know that I will use the ear function, but it is nice to have another option. This came with instructions, quick set up guide, batteries, and a bag to keep the thermometer in for storage. I am happy with it. It is very easy to use, it is pretty accurate and it is easy to get a reading. Once your temp is 99 and over it beeps extra when it is done to warn you of a fever too.

Decent but easy to break
I’ve bought two of these and both malfunctioned after some time. It would no longer read. Would get Err 1. Or it would say Hi or Low regardless of what I was pointing at. Heck it measured my room temp at 200 Fahrenheit.When it’s new however it works rather well which is why I still Give it 4 stars. For the price you’ll get some uses out of it. Just don’t expect it to last long.

Great product, best I have tried
I have thrown away 3 digital thermometers of different types because they were so unreliable.With present health worries I wanted to make sure we had an accurate thermometer that could be used easily. I ordered this Goodbaby Infared thermometer based on customer reviews and I am very happy, the product is better than I expected. I like the color coding of the light that indicates a good or bad reading. It is definitely more accurate the closer you get to the body, and it does read if you touch the body as well. Very clear and thorough instructions. Great little bag to keep it clean in my cabinet. I highly recommend this product, so much better than many others and a great price.

Fast and accurate.
Iâve bought several thermometers recently and this is the only one with consistent and seemingly accurate results. Itâs fast and easy to use. I like that it comes in a drawstring bag so it doesnât get dirty or scratched. I donât care about storing temps because Iâve never had a problem remembering previous readings but it has an insane number of temps it can store. Iâm a little confused because it looks like you might have to actually enter the number you want to store but I really didnât bother to look at that feature carefully. I know itâs not automatic which I would like since I usually take the temp a few times to make sure itâs accurate. Since it takes literally only a second, itâs easy to do. This is also the only one Iâve bought that made it clear that yo take an ear canal temp you have to pull the ear a certain way (varies if youâre testing a child or adult) to make sure itâs straight.

Does the job but not the best
Update: The temperature reading has been indicating that I have a fever and when I double check against an oral thermometer, there is about a 3 degree difference (this one says 99.6 and flashing yellow, my standard says 96.6). I just tested it on my baby, one time it reads 98.7 and a few minutes later it’s at 99.5… I can’t seem to win.I bought this because our daycare provider requires parents to bring their own temperature reader everyday to take our kid’s temperature before they are admitted into the building.This device has instruction that you should keep it in the same room you’ll be using it to take temperatures in for at least 30 minutes prior to taking the reading. All of these types of devices seem to have the same instruction though.The concept is easy but in reality, things don’t work as well.Pros: easy to read, small, clear instructionsCons: no way to clear the first reading, you have to wait for it to time out to take the next temperature, doesn’t measure consistently (I can take and retake our temperature in the same room over a few minutes time and get different readings

So accurate!!
This is most accurate thermometer Iâve found. Iâve used this on my sons temple and behind ear and then compared to a rectal temp and they were the exact same. My son had a 106 degree F and this picked it up with a temporal reading which is pretty incredible. I find the ear part isnât as accurate but if you place it behind and at the bottom of the ear you get the most accurate reading. I would highly recommend.
